Save yourself some time and money, don't bother giving a call. Extremely unprofessional over the phone, my carpets looks exactly the same after having them cleaned. Technician swiped over carpet one time and didnt bother to use any treatments on the stains. He was in and out in twenty minutes. Shady business, beware. If I was writing this review a few years ago when I first used Jouny Carpet Cleaning, I would give this service a rating of 2.5 stars at best. A few years ago, I hired Jouny Carpet Cleaning for a commercial job. A technician had to come 3 times. The first time, the technician attempted to use a portable cleaner that stopped working 2 seconds after he plugged it into a working power outlet. The second time, the technician did not bring enough length of hose to connect a cleaner to his van in order to do the job. It took a third try for the technician to come with a long enough hose to keep his cleaner hooked up to his van and to clean the carpet. The job was adequate, if not exceptional. A few days ago, I contacted Jouny to get a quote after multiple failed attempts to have Sears Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning do the job (see my Sears review at http://www.yelp.com/biz/sears-carpet-and-upholstery-cleaning-redford#query:sears%20carpet%20cleaning). The Jouny technician first estimated $400.00. I told him that his company had charged about $100.00 a few years ago and showed him an $87.00 quote from Sears. The Jouny technician said he would call his office to find out the price from a few years ago and that his company would charge the same amount. He spoke to the company owner on his cell phone who told him to charge $200.00 instead. I rejected the price, knowing it was more than what we were first charged, and found the Jouny receipt from a few years ago charging $150.00. Jouny Carpet Cleaning has raised its prices, refusing to match competitors or even its own previous charges for customers who consider reusing its services. I will instead not use any carpet cleaning service and will rent a carpet cleaning machine and buy cleaning solution from a local Home Depot store. read more

They came for cleaning service with a broken machine. After the machine was fixed, they then had another issue and said they had to come back later the same day to finish the job. They never called or came back after 24 hours, and I had to find another company to finish their job. Unprepared, unprofessional without any follow up. Certainly not recommended. read more

Horrible company. The owner is only conserned with money not thw service. They loose items or the workers steal them. They do not use proper chemicals,they are bought from the dollar store. If they are over paid you will never see your money. It takes forever for them to fix there mistakes n the home, if they ever do. Ducts cleaning states they also sanitize,which they dp not.Huge rip off. Very poorly ran company. The owner and workers barely speak english and just tell you what you what to hear,not what will be done. read more

I used Jouney CC many times and on the spot emergency cleaning in rental that I had. They were prompt and did spot cleaning and since a pet was in the house they even put air freshner that I never asked for and was not charged for....the guy went through the house himself and anything he felt needed a second going over, he did it without asking. I was very pleased with them and would recommend them again...only if you are the only customer that morning or they would do a rush job, their phones are constantly ringing. Real mixed bag. First time I called them in an emergency.( my father in law has some incontinence issues) Around one in the afternoon .I talked to an older foreign gentleman, explained the situation. he said to hold on,.when he came back he said we will be there in an hour or hour and a half...it will be $99..4 pm came I started to worry I called . bruskly he said we will be there. A couple more calls and with direction confusion a nice young man showed up . I explained the situation ,apologized for the short notice he was really nice did an excellent job ,pre spotted and went over some areas a few times even touched up a couple cushions. Told me he didn't mind just hoped I was happy with the job . i tipped him. really great experience!!! FAST FORWARD 2 MONTHS I called same brisk man answered ,I told him how great a job they had done and thanked him. I asked if they had any openings that day(about8:30 am) he said to give him a minute he would call me back with the time.. Didn't call me back or answer when I called them back ..... Sad the tech was GREAT they need a better phone person. read more
