I reached out to inquire about pricing for a deep "move out" clean as I am getting ready to list my parents home for sale. I received a reasonable quote and based on other positive reviews - I went ahead and book service. My appointment was for 930am. At about 945 I texted the number I had been communicating with to get an update since no one was here - I received a response that Sarah, the cleaner, needed to stop for some supplies and was running a bit behind but would be there soon.She arrived at about 1015 and only had a small bucket of a few cleaning supplies. I mentioned that I had a vacuum in a closet that she could utilize - she thanked me and we discussed that I needed my house deep cleaned as I as getting ready to list it for sale. She was here until about 2:45 when she ubrutly left and said "well that's all there is plus im out of supplies". She never attempted to collect payment or ask if I was okay with the status of the house. While she was here she took multiple phone calls while working to discuss her legal issues and how to get her car out of impound. She cleaned my floors by using a swiffer wetjet - that was in the closet with the vacuum. If im paying for a professional cleaning service, you should not be utilizing a swiffer to clean my floors. Every room in my house is still dirty and I am going to have to now spend hours cleaning. The kitchen still has obvious dirty floors, the stove looks worse than it did before she arrived and she didn't even clean the outside of the cabinets, let alone the inside. The walls in the bedrooms were still covered in dust and I found a spider still chilling on the wall in one so I don't even know what she did while she was in there. While no money was wasted - I've wasted hours of my time. (And im still perplexed she left without ensuring I paid for the services of the company she works for). read more

I reached out through the request for quote feature on Yelp and received a response practically in the same hour! By the end of day I had an appointment for three days out in the time slot I needed. They have a great email reminder system to update on the details and project quote and can take various forms of payment from Zelle to Cashapp to Venmo. The service was very responsive by text and phone. When the cleaner Danielle arrived, she was right on time and she took into consideration all of the special requests. When it was clear that the job would take longer, she was able to update me 20min before time was up so that I could approve or decline the extra time needed. I had a few spots marked that I was particularly interested in as it relates to deep cleaning and she got them all. Even down to layers of soap scum on a soap dish, and leftover paint on the floor of the kitchen from the initial move in painting. Only one surface that was covered with items went missed for dusting but it was a lot to expect in a short time, so absolutely no disappointment at all. I have an under 800 square-foot home and every single time they came they never cleaned the entire thing in three hours. They charge by the hour and they eventually said that they needed 5 to 6 hours to clean the whole house. One time I let them do that and it still wasn't great. I really don't recommend this service or this model. Edited to respond to company: many of the items you stated are blatantly untrue. I have not worked with seven cleaners in fact I've only actually had one business that cleaned for me and that was you. My house does not have mold and mildew and heavily soiled areas. The condo my family was moving into had not been maintained very well for about 10 years. It had a couple very grimy bathrooms, and the kitchen cabinets and counters were coated with greasy cooking residues, dirt and dust. We knew we needed help getting it clean, so we called Alan at Touch of Class. From our initial contact, he and his team were excellent communicators, including sending emails and texts reminding us of our appointment. Even though he came a long way to our residence, he arrived right on time. He went the extra mile to clean all the surfaces, scrubbing off soap scum from sinks and showers BY HAND when his power tools couldn't break through the buildup. Alan put the same effort into the kitchen, too. The degreaser only did so much, so he had to buff every surface to remove the sticky film from the light fixtures and cabinets. Since we had hired Alan for a deep-clean, he asked often where we wanted him to concentrate his efforts so we could maximize the service for the price. I appreciate how collaborative he was. I had never hired anyone for cleaning help before and opened a project on Yelp which sent out my request to 4 businesses in the area. Alan called within the hour to get a better scope of my needs, kindly walked me through all my questions no matter how silly they might've been, and was willing to schedule me in for that same week so I would have everything done before my kids' birthday party. The base price was reasonable to my untrained ear, and then he also offered a deal they were running, and the whole thing stopped being so intimidating by the time I got off the phone with him. None of the other vendors called me, which is okay, but their quotes (which all ended up being MUCH higher!) were automated/sent through text message and didn't ask any questions about what I needed, where Alan was much more interested in understanding what they could do for me and how they could make it work in my budget. So we're already feeling good and the cleaner wasn't even there yet! Bek, the cleaner, was absolutely lovely! She was friendly and kind with me, and also so good with my 3 year old who was trailing her pretty much the whole time. (His review? "She's SUCH a big helper, Mama! She's the best!") If you have a time-sensitive clean, look elsewhere! My move in clean was cancelled an HOUR before he was scheduled to arrive. The text message said he had back pain and had cancelled 3 people the previous week. I booked this cleaning 3 weeks in advance and even spoke with him the day before when he asked to come a few hours earlier than scheduled because his morning clean cancelled. Requested a deep clean of a newly bought home. Touch of Class responded right away with an estimated time and cost. They also stressed the customizability of their services, if you want it done, ask and they will do it. I was shopping around before choosing a cleaner but not all of the ones I spoke with would include garages or utility equipment, unlike Touch of Class. When they arrived, they delivered. Alan, the owner, explained what his team would do and if I made any other requests during the cleaning he was glad to add them to the list. He also made sure to take me through the house afterward to make sure everything was done right. They even went beyond and did some window cleaning outside of the house when I only expected the interior to be cleaned up.
