If you want that, take your friend out for coffee. Donna was able to take me from being highly treatment resistant to being in remission and having a 36 year marriage with a wonderful family. Finally, the work Donna did with me that I have not needed to seek additional help until recently. I was looking up to return to Donna, but don't think the care I needed at this time required the level of treatment given at a psychologist level and her office is 1+hours from my home. I will also say in working with the LCPC I am working with now, it has been said that it is obvious that the work I had done in the past with Donna was excellent and this was just a refresher. I started seeing Amy at the suggestion of my psychiatrist in order to help with some sleeping…read moreissues through cognitive behavioral therapy. Honestly, I was extremely resistant - I didn't want to see a therapist, I didn't want to talk through issues, and I really didn't think CBT would help at all with my sleeping problems. I finally gave in, agreeing to "time box" the sessions to 10 weeks, just to give it a shot and see if it would help. After my first session with Amy, my wife and I both noticed improvements in my ability to fall asleep, my quality of sleep, and my overall mood and energy because of my sleep, within just a couple of days. Fast forward several months later, including multiple weeks of seeing Amy more than once a week. The 10 week "time box" is obviously well past, and I've begun to allow Amy and her expertise into more of my life and to help me deal with even more issues in my life, from being a better husband, father, employee, and just a better person in general. To be completely honest, I really wanted to not like seeing a therapist, and frankly, not like Amy. But now, I can't imagine my life without seeing Amy and having her help me through things, give me my homework, and help me to learn that I can work through mental hurdles with various strategies she's taught me. Amy has always been available - she's very prompt to return phone calls and even text messages when I have needed her, has been very flexible to work around my schedule, and genuinely cares about me and my family. If you're looking for a great therapist and someone who will care about you, get to know you, and take time for you, I highly recommend Amy. She's helped more than my sleep, she's changed my life and sticking with her past 10 weeks has been the best decision I've made in a long time.

I left messages and then I Left a message directly for him. No response. I called multiple times for a refill only to be sent on a goose chase to my pharmacy to get them to request it(?!) They had no clue want my new psych office was wanting to accomplish here since this was a controlled substance. Like I previously said, I tried to get help directly from my psych who only ended up here at this facility because his other practice closed. So the script was finally sent to the pharmacy but not by my doc. There is someone there that takes care of the refills and it was sent to the pharmacy incorrectly and I have all the evidence to prove it. I left a message about the error only to receive a personal call back by this person to let me know she didn't do anything wrong and "maybe" my doc changed it. I said no because our last visit a month ago we decided on a new dosage and that's what I'm looking to get filled now. She would not budge. I suggested there was simply an error and I know what my doc wants me to take because I have the empty bottle in front of me with the new dosage and she wouldn't budge. I felt gate kept. I couldn't talk to my doc. I felt like he didn't know this was going on. Suddenly she withdrew the new prescription that was sent. I'm out of medication completely by now as this all took days. Finally I just decided this isn't the place for me. Maybe one day my doc will notice I'm missing and reach out until then I'm on my own and we wonder why we have this mental health crisis in America. This behavior doesn't help those who are already suffering and su!cidal.
