When I had my son nearly 30 years later and moved back to Spokane, we were lucky enough to get a spot here. My son had been to three other day cares (kinder care, then another center in CA, and a military child care facility). Out of all three day care centers, this one is by far the best. My son has separation anxiety from all our moves, but the staff here are wonderful and supportive. I stayed with my son for a few hours the first few days to help him adjust, and was very impressed with what I saw from the teachers and children. Whenever he had a hard time at drop-off, they scooped him up, re-directed him or comforted him. By the end of the day he didn't want to leave because he was having so much fun! The teachers are experienced and have great relationships with the kids; they teach them how to be good friends to each other and how to behave well to keep everyone safe.This was the place where my son learned how to play nicely with other children and start empathizing. When a child does misbehave the teachers are firm, but they still respect the child; all the kids see this and understand. They are truly treated like independent individuals, and the teachers help them realize that they can make good decisions on their own. While mine was their worst medical emergency (hopefully it stays that way), my son had his own mishap there. They called to tell me that he had bitten his tongue open when he fell, and it was a sizable wound. Of course I was very worried about him, and distressed that he got injured. But I knew they were more than capable of taking care of him while I drove over, and that they would have called 911 if it had been necessary. He didn't need stitches, and they were wonderful about warming up the mush I brought for him as his tongue healed. In addition to the social and safety aspects, this child development center and its teachers offer wonderful activities that run the spectrum of artistic, academic, physical, and more. My son always came home with inventive art projects, letters that he had practiced, and would sing new songs he had learned that day. They also give the kids plenty of time to run and play outside, even holding water play days and transportation days (where the kids can bring their tricycles to ride around outside). We are military, and unfortunately had to move. We were lucky enough to have our son at Fantasy Farm for a little over a year. If we had been able to stay in Spokane, I would have kept him there until he started elementary school, and probably would have had him in the after school and summer programs as well. This review might sound too good to be true, but if you visit and observe the classes, the kids and the teachers, you'll see for yourself that it is a fantastic place. I recommend Fantasy Farm to anyone without reservation.

They have a small staff and lower numbers of children in each classroom, so its less stressful for the kids. In addition, they are the base level of a church, so they have a big basketball court for the kids to play in every day, regardless of weather-- they can run all over and play with ride-on toys. Their curriculum is fun for the kids and they've had wonderful, creative enrichment activities the whole time he has been there-- musicians come and play instruments, field trips, a week focused on camping where they set up a camp site in the gym with like 12 giant tents, a picnic table, and a fake fire. My son has gotten excited about letters and numbers, and he's a pretty rascally guy, one that's hard to get to stay focused. They've done a wonderful job with him, and they have a very relaxed and inviting atmosphere. The teachers are so positive, patient, kind, and consistent. I keep taking him there because he's so happy, even though I have to drive way out of my way. Highly recommended :).

Anyway at the end of this summer, Logan starts kindergarten and I am so thankful to Just Imagine for morphing his education while his parentals have to work. We are young parents, so it has taken longer to get all the ducks in a row of our life and for a while we were bouncing around jobs, apartments, and daycares. In the last 4 years we found a home we have been in since 2012 - which is a blessing. It took us a while to find the perfect preschool and now here we are. The structure is amazing. The whole entire school is decorated and matches the learning and fun that each child gets to experience every day. He has grown through a couple classrooms and has made friends, knows his colors, the alphabet and can count to 20. They go outside every day and have a daily schedule visible for parents to see and understand. They do field trips to the movies and the splash pad, and allow the teachers the freedom and flexibility to develop curriculum, get to know the parents, and also know things about the students. I am so appreciative that they get to know them on a personal level and I am so happy to trust them with my child while I get through the workweek. A very communicative staff, an amazing and understanding owner, and a brilliant amount of potential all in one.

I called, and it was one of the staff's phone numbers, and she told me that the daycare is temporarily closed for an unknown reason and they don't know the time they will open. I didn't go to work for more than a week. After that, I decided to keep my kids home until I found good daycare. I lost my work schedule because of them. Moms do not take your kids there. They don't care at all. I don't recommend it to anyone.

My two children have been going to Children's Montessori Center for the last five years and I haven't witnessed anything discribed as what the last person has outlined - EVER! This is a high end Montessori Center and I feel my children are in a safe and clean environment. I have never walked into CMCI to find my children or anyone else's children unattended. In addition, I feel the staff is very professional and friendly. I have never witnessed any teachers EVER yelling at children or engaging in any inappropriate conversations. My children are excited to go to CMCI every day as they make learning fun. This isn't just a daycare, it's a learning center. My children learned at an early age how to write their own name, alphabet, all the presidents (in order) and continents by the time they were 3-4 years old, just to name a few. I cannot express how thankful I am to CMCI and Debbie Henry for preparing my children for grade school. I absolutely love this school and highly recommend it to anyone. You children will thrive here!
