I was a little skeptical at first about staffing agencies (I'm a skeptic about everything) but decided to give them a try. I was contacted and was in their office the next day filling out paperwork for payroll. I was set up with a position to work at a non profit call center that very evening! I really couldn't believe how easy and quick it was considering I've had harder times placing orders at drive thrus. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional and the office was very easy to find. The biggest plus in my book besides the staff was getting paid every week....my bank account appreciated that. Adam is best viewed as a salesman for himself, not someone who will help you. He will hit you with…read morea bunch of big numbers. "I have 10,000 people in my address book. I have 5,000 contacts on LinkedIn" --- but he is the kind of guy who treats desperate job seekers as disposable. He overpromises & underdelivers. He is so unresponsive he will tell you to check in with him if he does nott get back to you within 2 weeks. Then he will just ignore your calls and emails. He will promise to call you "in the morning," & then email you in the evening to say Oh, I got held up --- can we chat in the AM? (I can understand if this happens once, but not 3 times in one week.) Your time is better spent with other recruiters who are less selfish and more responsive.
