Unless there was a magnificent collection of businesses towards the putative pub/bar, there isn't much within "walking distance," unless your idea of "walking distance" involves radical, sweeping arcs of the minute hand on your chronometer. The folks out at the fuel dock were great. We got a facedock actually *at* the fuel pump, which made it egregiously simple to tie up, fuel up, and water up. The shower was the exterior bathroom at the fuelhouse building. That's not bad, but there was no way to lock out other people while you were in there trying to get cleaned up. You could take a shower in a small cubicle, but other people could still enter and use the commode and sink. That was the pinnacle of suckage. It's close to the Ditch and near the first blue water access point to blue water from where we began. Beers were $20 per 18-pack in the store. It was good enough, but there was nothing remarkable about it.

Wifi either didn't work or was non-existent (we were about 30 feet from the office which ordinarily should have provided good reception). We had to use the office restroom - office closed at 6pm (opened 7am). No showers. No trash receptacle. No pump out. I think my boat was in the mud at low tide. I felt ripped off at almost $200 for two night's stay. I would not recommend this marina to anyone.

Great News! This marina is under new management and has been given a new overhaul. No more shared…read morerestrooms, all updated and very nice. You can now dock with assistance by a knowledgeable Dockmaster. The fuel and pump out is operational and the place is managed full time. Plenty of good restaurants with a grocery, marine store and fresh seafood market all within a minute or two.

While they had the boat, I had them install a Talon power pole. They did a great job with the installation and the technician even called me a couple of times to give me some advice on where the actual mount should go for the pole. I would definitely recommend this dealer to my friends and family. They have a full service department and they sale the fuel stabilizer for you boat fuel. I think I only paid bout 14 bucks for a 32 oz bottle.

There are clean restrooms available to guests. There is a restaurant, Archies (the old Capt. Poo's) right by the marina for drinks and food. A nice convenient marina, look forward to coming here again.

Offered me the fuel dock since it was end of day and figured no one would come in for fuel in aftermath of Tropical Storm Eta (2020). Told me to stay on boat during rain and worry about check-in and payment later. Ended up leaving early in morning before they opened. I called later in day to remit payment for stay and they were so appreciative of that they gave me a discount. Will stay there again if I come back that way. Excellent way to run a business.
