I came out for a meeting, photo shoot and interview with a local business owner at this marina this morning and, I cannot lie, it is gorgeous. I'm a simple man with simple ways and modest income so owning a luxury yacht or boat to be docked at this marina, are nothing more than a pipe dream for me, so no...I do not have a boat. When the temperature and weather cooperates like it did today, it's a serene place to hang out and just take it all in. Had I made some different life choices, decisions and changes in the past, it could have been possible for me to enjoy this marina every single day on a boat of my own. But, that's not the way it worked out so I just resorted to envying and appreciating the beautiful, nautical vessels that were docked. The place is stunning and the people around the marina seemed pleasant enough. 5 STARS for allowing this simple peasant access to stroll along your marina in order to fulfill a work obligation today.

Unless there was a magnificent collection of businesses towards the putative pub/bar, there isn't much within "walking distance," unless your idea of "walking distance" involves radical, sweeping arcs of the minute hand on your chronometer. The folks out at the fuel dock were great. We got a facedock actually *at* the fuel pump, which made it egregiously simple to tie up, fuel up, and water up. The shower was the exterior bathroom at the fuelhouse building. That's not bad, but there was no way to lock out other people while you were in there trying to get cleaned up. You could take a shower in a small cubicle, but other people could still enter and use the commode and sink. That was the pinnacle of suckage. It's close to the Ditch and near the first blue water access point to blue water from where we began. Beers were $20 per 18-pack in the store. It was good enough, but there was nothing remarkable about it.

We had to use the office restroom - office closed at 6pm (opened 7am). No showers. No trash receptacle. No pump out. I think my boat was in the mud at low tide. I felt ripped off at almost $200 for two night's stay. I would not recommend this marina to anyone.

While they had the boat, I had them install a Talon power pole. They did a great job with the installation and the technician even called me a couple of times to give me some advice on where the actual mount should go for the pole. I would definitely recommend this dealer to my friends and family. They have a full service department and they sale the fuel stabilizer for you boat fuel. I think I only paid bout 14 bucks for a 32 oz bottle.

Told me to stay on boat during rain and worry about check-in and payment later. Ended up leaving early in morning before they opened. I called later in day to remit payment for stay and they were so appreciative of that they gave me a discount. Will stay there again if I come back that way. Excellent way to run a business.

The yacht club has full dry stack service, wet slips, picnic tables, a small beach, a tennis court, pool, bathrooms with showers, and a clubhouse. The clubhouse has seating both downstairs and up. They even have carts to haul your stuff. You can request your boat for overnight and they'll keep it out for you. The location is a bit far from the main area of Wrightsville Beach, but there's the Carolina Beach inlet right across the way and gas nearby. It's a very protected marina. Love being a member here.
