Once I tried a Beaver Tail it became like a cult to try to find the stands while traveling around Canada. Two years later I was once again in Canada traveling around and looking for Beaver Tails! The light pastry decorated with your choice of toppings gives you a number of different combinations for your dessert. They also sell other items like a hot dog wrapped in the pastry. Sometimes there can be a line at the food cart but I've been pretty lucky that if a line was started I was usually at the front. All the different stands I've been to have had friendly and fast service: sometimes you can strike up interesting conversations while waiting for your food. Since Beaver Tails Is sold at food stands there is usually seating areas close by to enjoy your delicacy.

It was served hot and had a great flavor. I added less cream than I usually do. The flavor was just right for me. I chatted with one of the employees and she was delightful. The food they serve looks pretty good too but since I was on a cruise I wasn't exactly hungry. They have salads, sandwiches and wraps. There is a constant stream of customers here. If I ever find myself by a Tim hortons again, I will certainly buy a cup of coffee.

Since I love cupcakes and had some time to kill, I decided to walk in. As I opened the door, I walked into a delicious, sweet smell of cupcakes. I reached the counter and saw the different cupcakes. After staring for a good 10 minutes, I decided on the strawberry daiquiri. The cake was soft with bits of strawberries. The frosting wasn't too sweet and went perfect with the cake. It was probably one of the best cupcakes I ever had. I was a bit disappointed that I had to limit myself to one cupcake (I've been eating since the cruise started). They did have a mini cupcake sampler set that had a lot of their flavors. It also looks like they do cakes too. It was a very cute shop with fun and adorable decoration. Take a peek if you're in town.
