He kept us updated on the progress of each lamp for the work needed was intricate. One lamp had three sockets that needed to be re-wired and a new cord & switch put in. The other lamp had 12 sockets and several needed to be replaced, along with the cord and a foot switch. Both lamps work gloriously - we could not be more thrilled.
