Ps I have photos of all that was wrong. First I would go get your vehicle re certified by your mechanic not theirs. Second their service depart is there to take your money. So I bought a Cadillac Escalade used 2010. I bought this yes it had high K's on it but apparently the motors was replaced so i went for it. Now here where the problems come started. They took more than a week to get it ready. Then it was a evening pick up I sit with Connie and she goes through all they apparently did.lol what a joke. Nothing was done. They said the A/C worked ya right not even a Belt there. The windshield leaked they wouldn't fix it. Rust all around the window I did not see. I replaced a door. Because of holes. I did about $5500 in Body work fixing the exterior with all the holes they covered up. Lower Ball Joint was replaced brake pads had to be replaced. Wipers did not work had them fixed. The windshield/ ball joints / brakes are all part of the safety. This dealership is a joke. Yes nice but they're Snakes in suits. I have all photos and documentation of what I did and what they said they did. So I will write a review on every site because after countless emails not one person has phoned back. As for Larry the owner. KARMA IS A xxxxx. How dare you take advantage. I trusted this dealer because of its history also because my uncle and him were at one time business partners. So if you want to take in the xxx like I did from a bunch of people who sells pigs with lipstick on it then go there. This is the worst Dealer and I will be following through with every legal action to but pressure on them so they never screw anyone ever again. Yes it was a only 11,500 vehicle but since I'm already $8000,00 into it I'm not happy. Ps. I asked for them to Krown Rust this vehicle and that was a joke as well. Missed so many spots. Not impressed and upset as they came highly recommended! Purchased 2018 Mazda CX5, carfax stated rear end accident but no claim. After picking up car noticed substantial front end damage that has been repaired except for the black plastic piece under the bumper apparently you need to climb under a car to make sure all is ok! Contacted general manager Ihab and was basically told not there problem I must have hit a curb and they did not show anything reported on the certification by their mechanic! You can clearly see it is old damage! All I wanted was them to fix $100 part! Stay away they don't back up their customers! When you pay $29000 for a vehicle you expect a little respect! Horrible... purchased a vehicle from them Feb 23, car broke down within 20 minutes of leaving their shop. To date, the dealership has not compensated my payments nor have they managed to fix the vehicle that I purchased. It's now been 21 days without the vehicle that I purchased in my possession and the dealership refuses to allow me out of the deal NOR will they compensate me for the payments that have been coming from my account for a vehicle that I don't have. My boyfriend and I contacted this dealership yesterday Jan. 20th (by phone and with an email) about a specific vehicle we wanted to come see. The salesman told us yes they had it available, we told him we were travelling 90 minutes to come see it today and he confirmed that he was expecting us. Upon arrival, we were told that they could not find the car? I asked what do you mean? - he said they literally did not know where the vehicle was (they have 3 lots) but then told us after checking with all the lots, that they still had no idea where it was and that sometimes they are still getting transferred from where they purchase them to their location. I asked why would you advertise a vehicle on your website if it is not actually ready to be sold or even on your lot!! He said, that happens often here (he actually said that). Then I said why would another salesperson who we spoke with and emailed with earlier that day lead us to believe you had it and allow us to drive 90 minutes for nothing! He apologized and had no answer for that. We asked to speak to the manager who was nearby, John was his name, did not come to speak to us, we asked for a courtesy gas compensation for having to drive 90 minutes both ways, and John did not offer anything for putting us out of not having the car we were told was available for sale, plus the time we took to drive nor the gas we wasted doing so. I would NOT recommend you spend your hard earned dollars at this unethical business where they do not even try to make you feel important enough to send you on your way in some way compensated for their obvious lack of company organization and not even knowing where their cars are!!! Drove out yesterday and was car shopping all day, called ahead to this place and told them that I will be there in about 1.5 hours to test drive the car. The Salesman sounded very promising and told me that he will have the car ready when I will come by. When I arrived there, he was busy with another customer and told me to drive to the other lot because that is where the car was located and that he will catch up very soon. I drove to the other lot were another salesman was running around frantically trying to serve 3 customers at the same time and they didn't look to happy. After waiting around for 20min in total, I called the Salesman at the other location to ask if he is still coming. He completely forgot that he send me to the other lot, I just told him to not bother to come anymore because I have two more car dealerships to go to. read more

I just bought a vehicle from them unlike the other 2 reviewers. Our sales person was Tim, a very professional guy and not pushy. Financial part was done through Peter, who gave me priceless home mortgage advice and we picked up my car through a girl who looks like Kim Cardashian (but I can't remember her name) Overall I found the service very fast and efficient. So far so good. All my conditions were met. It's true, the price is not negotiable but certain things can be agreed upon. My rating was initially 4 stars, I upgraded it. After I purchased my car I brought it to my mechanic for a final check as I have 30 days bumper to bumper coverage from the dealership. My mechanic was impressed, everything I asked of the dealership was done and more. I am pleasantly surprised and grateful for their professionalism. read more

I'm very disappointed in my misleading and unprofessional experience at JP Motors. Salesman (Henry) was half an hour late to our scheduled appointment. I bought the car from him after he went over in detail how much better the car would be after the service department had a chance to fix it up. Within a week I had an expensive repair (~$500) that had to be done on some faulty belts. At the very least I would have liked to have been informed of this impending repair as it would have affected whether I chose to purchase the vehicle. Not sure if the service department isn't good at what they do and didn't notice the faulty belts or if they just didn't care enough to tell me. Either way they made clear that I won't be getting reimbursed for the repair costs. The only good thing that JP Motors did was the thorough cleaning of the interior of the vehicle. Just go elsewhere for your used car needs. The sales staff mislead and are unprofessional. read more

The first thing you have to know is that when it comes to buying a car I bring my father along with me because he is the most analytical and observant person you could meet... especially when it comes to cars. To put things in perspective, when I bought my used Jeep Liberty it must have been the second week of car shopping and we must have thoroughly inspected 20 cars or so. So... we're picky. This time around, we didn't go to as many places, but we did spend about 4 hours on the JP Motors lot. Our sales person was Sasha. I can tell you that I appreciated her patience because as someone with a sales background, I would have eventually tired of my father's requests.. but she was great and kept up a smile. She took care of our requests, she answered questions on time (after leaving the lot and leaving a deposit), she made sure the expectations were lived up to. Now, if you're considering going to JP Motors, you might be shocked, as I was at how there is no negotiating room on the price, but I accepted this because I had done my research on comparables and was quite pleased that my theory 'they leave margin to take care of dotting the i's and crossing the t's" was correct. I really thought the sales manager was a grumpy guy who didn't want to do anything on the price (I had to try)... but it's all good. I got great value and it's no non-sense so I appreciate that. Overall, Really outstanding service (she did a lot of running around) and Sasha along with JP Motors comes highly recommended. My new Porsche has no issues at all... 60 days later... no alerts, runs like a dream... killer on the gas though, but I knew that going in! read more

And when you call them up on an issue they ignore you and never fix the original problems. A total scam company from the finance people to the salespeople and to management. BEWARE!! Took my daughter to buy her first car. The salesperson was excellent. Found a car, wrote up the bill of sale and she applied for financing. Next day got a call from the finance manager telling me my daughter was approved and what the monthly payments would be. I said that would be fine and I would pass on her message. When we picked it up we noticed that in the final bill of sale there was an additional $3000 in life insurance that was not on the original bill of sale. They had included the $3000 in the price without asking us! According to them I had approved it when they told me about the monthly payments. At no time did anyone say there was an additional charge. I guess they figured that they could hide it in the monthly payments. Unbelievable! Even during the barrage of documents my daughter signed not one word was mentioned. My advice is BEWARE!! Make sure that you check your final bill of sale. It's too bad because the sales people were great and this review by no means reflects our experience with them. My daughter went in that same day and had the 3000 additional charge cancelled. Good life lesson!! Would never go back on principle alone! read more

I went in a couple of days ago to check out a car I had seen online. I must have been waiting in front of the car on the lot for 10 minutes before I decided that I'd go into the sales office myself to find a salesman. Once I did, I found the salesman Henry to be extremely arrogant and condescending, answering my questions with indifference and acting as if I was wasting his time. When I asked him if their certification program for pre-owned vehicles was through the dealer or the manufacturer, he proceeded to tell me that there is no such thing as manufacturer certification for pre-owned vehicles. Really now?? I ended up test driving the car and liking it, but the vehicle had been sold while I was out on the drive. I was quickly ushered out of the car when I got back and left to myself looking around the lot. In addition to driving a hard bargain (they say prices are not negotiable), the quality of salesmanship I experienced was abysmal. I won't ever be going back there again! read more

The worst car buying experience I"ve ever had!!! Sloppy sales person who made promises that he failed to follow up on after I signed the bill of sale. They tried to over charge me on fees and when I pointed it out I was given attitude and told it would work out in the finance numbers which it did not, unless you consider "working out" to their advantage a way of working things out. Negoiated new tires in my deal and the sales person assured me decent brand name tires and when I showed up to pick up my car it had no name cheap tires that were made in China. The sales person started an arguement with me afterwards and refused to accept responsibility for his lack of follow up to make sure I reveiced the decent tires he told me I would receive after several requests from me to inquire what their mechanics shop was doing. After I refused to take delivery of the car they agreed to supply me with something decent. If this dealership was the last dealership in the world and I needed a car I would walk before I stepped in any of their locations. read more

There are presently only two used car dealers on my "go-to" list in the golden horseshoe area when I'm looking for a "pre-owned" vehicle. Before this purchase at the SUV/Truck division of JP motors I had only one. Joe the sales guy was straight with me, listened to what I wanted and made sure everything I requested would get done. That coupled with a fair price sealed the deal for me. The whole paperwork process was very efficient yet not rushed. Stella the business manager was pleasant and thorough with her explanation of the sales agreement and available options. The vehicle was nicely detailed and ready for me at the promised time. One very special thing I want to mention is that I called JP to see if they could provide a shuttle service for me so I could pick up the car when it was ready. Later that evening I received a call from Joe telling me that he would pick me up. I didn't realize it until he got to my house but he picked me up in his own car, on his own time while on his way to work! Now there's a gentleman who knows how to keep customers returning. All said and done, based on my experience I would definitely recommend dealing with JP Motors. read more

We purchased a vehicle from these guys less than two weeks ago. We had asked that they check the sunroof because there seemed to be a bit of staining. It seems that they didn't check. We bought it, assuming it had been checked (like we asked), then discovered significant moisture inside when it rained. Went to nearby dealer to get it looked at and its significant rust and water damage- an expensive repair. We asked JP that they either fix it or we want to return it. They are refusing either one. It's been less than 2 weeks. They make you pay for their incompetence. NEVER AGAIN. read more

Let me start this by saying, I do not usually write negative reviews. But I had the kind of experience with this company I feel people should be aware of. I came to test drive a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica. Car was very clean, had new struts, engine was polished, very little rust, started up just fine. It passed all of my visual inspections. I asked the dealer if I could take it for a test drive. I was told since it had started to snow, customers were not allowed to test drive vehicles outside of the lot. I was okay with that, so I drove the car around the lot a few times. It felt good, shifted well. Until I slammed on the break hard. The car immediately lost power. I did this a few more times and had my friend try it, and every time you would hit the breaks a little to hard, the car would stutter. What this tells me, is the sales person knew the issue with the car. So by not allowing me to test drive it on the road, he would increase his chances of me not discovering the issue. VERY BAD dont buy here! First my car was not safe to drive but they passed it, almost got into an accident on the highway going 110kms car started shaking and pulling. Second parts were missing from the car that were there when i test drove it, scratches were found on the day of pickup they told me to come in, at night and when i pointed it out they said they cant see anything the next day i told service they said talk to ur sales rep he said how do I know you didnt do it. I had told him the person who works for you who put the plates on seen it too, he said maybe you guys are friends. ...REALLY! I was dealing with a child! Called the General Manager left message waited 3 days no call, called 3 more times nothing. I decided to take the loss and now with all the things i have to replace i have to pay $935.78 very bad service as well. When you call in they ask you first whats the issue so we can direct your call and you end up on the phone for 7 minutes being directed everywhere else, then it hangs up. Its up to everyone to make there own decision, but i dont leave reviews but this really made me mad and scared of how they let an unfit vehicle out to someone on the road being unsafe. So i did my job hope I helped at least some people. read more

I initially dealt with Mike Liang when I started car shopping. I am so impressed with his knowledge of cars and honesty. I unfortunately didn't buy from Mike as JP has different lots for car price points. I wish I could have given him the commission. I dealt with a younger salesman who could learn from more seasoned colleagues My car was supposed to have had issues fixed prior to my taking possession. The paint chip was not fixed and the car had a 1/2 tank of gas I felt like I had a one night stand and the salesman dumped me. Another salesman, Mark, gave me a voucher to fill up my car at a gas station. Mike and Mark are seasoned salesman who understand what makes a happy customer I will recommend JP to two of my friends who are car shopping, but will only recommend these two salesman Update: The salesman Tim came to my house and touched up the rust spots with the paint pen and showed me how to program some of the features i feel better now that I see the after sales commitment read more

Came in from Hamilton to look at a SUV my husband was to meet me after work to see if he liked the car as well. I gave them my number and simply asked if they could call me if they were selling the car so we both wouldn't waste a trip. We get there at the time we told them we would be there and they are finishing the paperwork on the sale of the SUV for someone else. I get that you can't hold the car but I asked to be called. Very bad they sold me a car that was not safe! But they passed it, on the highway it was swirving right and left. Nedded a major alignment, but you would not know until you take it on the highway. Customer service is baaaad. When i test drove the car it came with all options like wind guards spoiler, when i got there in the evening they were all off! They said that the service guys took it off and it had to be for a reason. Wow i purchase a car thinking its going to be the same way i test drove it and they take everything, including the leather steering wheel, it was real leather and they kept it!!! Never had such a bad experience at a car dealership and my husband and I have been to numerous dealerships before and on this particular day and was never treated as poorly as we were here. The man said he wouldn't be in in the next couple of days and kept pushing us to buy on the spot and could NOT answer any of my questions about the car we were interested in and shrugged off all my questions. I gave a deposit for a 2010 Acura to hold while I was arranging the funds through my bank (it ended up taking 9 days). Sales guy said no problem "you have the first right of refusal".... if someone is interested he would give me a call to see if I wanted to pass on the car. I called when my funds were released from the bank only to be told they sold the car but I could have my deposit back (how nice!!!). Not even a phone call to let me know. They did say they had a 2012 Acura if I was interested, ha ha.... Sorry JP Motors, you lost my business because you lack customer service and simple respect for others. If I received a phone call, you could have sold both Acura's. Hopefully you will treat your potential customers better in the future ;) read more

J.P.'s lack of willingness to negotiate pricing should be your biggest red flag. the price of used goods are subject to price adjustment based on the condition and lack of warranty but not in J.P.'s world for some reason. I bought a car recently. I paid them on a Tues. but couldn.'t get my car until Thursday 5PM, AND I had to fight to get it on Thursday because the ownership hadn't been transferred yet. FYI....the next day was Good Friday and I wanted my car for the long weekend. PLUS, I was told the car would have a full tank of gas and all the fluid levels would be topped up when I picked it up, but that wasn't the case. It only had a 1/4 tank of gas and the windsheild washer fluid was "BONE DRY." I purchased a jug of windsheild washer fluid and it took the WHOLE JUG to fill it. What the ____? When you promise something to the customer you had better come through. When I went on Thursday to pick-up the car, I was asked "Do you have an appointment?" I said no, but you have my money so I want my car. After given an explanation about company procedures and why an appointment is necessary , I said "I didn't need an appt. the day you took my money," so I'm staying here until I get my car. That was at 1:30pm. She left the room briefly to check on something and when she came back she said "Come back at 5:00pm and we'll have your car ready." It shouldn't have been this difficult and if there is a waiting period between Payment and Pick-up...I should have been told about it. But, they don't want people to walk away from the deal so they say nothing. It's too bad because it put a negative spin on picking up my new car. I bought my car from them a few weeks ago. Before I bought the car I had a few conditions, I noticed the car needed an oil change, the head liner needed to be cleaned, key fob didn't work, fix paint due to small hit, and most of the fluids were low. So they put on the contract to fix these things. After picking up the car, I noticed no oil change was done, all my fluids were still low, head liner wasn't even touched. As well, there was some sort of acid stain on the front fender that was not there when I originally looked at it. So the only thing they did was fix the key fob and the paint on the front. I went in early the very next day and asked for a manager, I guess I talked to a sales manager (don't remember name). He was very defensive, I asked for the acid stain to be fixed (which they did). Asked why they did not change the oil when I specifically asked for it and it said on the contract that they would. He said there mechanics looked at the car and they didn't think it needed one. One day later my car light comes on saying oil change required. He was very persistent in saying he couldn't do anything for me and I would have to call some phone number. I then asked about the head liner and said any other dealership (like John Bear) would make sure the interior is very clean. He told me they are not a franchise like those other dealers. In my head i thought, YOUR ONLY JOB IS TO CLEAN THE CAR. I'm paying a lot of money for it, and expect it to show in the job that you guys do. Overall I was unhappy with the cleaning of the car, and how my oil change was not done, even though I asked for it. Now I have to write this review in order to get my "free" oil change when I should have already had it done. Thanks JP motors. read more

Very unusual practices. They claim a "no haggle" policy as their pricing is aggressive and allegedly very fair, but here's what I found. On my way there today to view a PickUp I had seen on line in the morning. I had sent my wife the link and told her the price, when she opened it about 3 hours later she found that they had increased the price by $5000. Well the fair price suddenly turned into a terrible deal. I called JP to confirm if this was simply an error and after some awkward silence and me prodding...they admitted that they watch the market and if they see prices rising they do the same. Apparently they have a visit counter on their site and must see the flurry of activity and figured they could make a bit more. It's their dealership and they can do as they please, but I find it an bit of an unethical to claim to be a "No haggle" dealership yet they are more then happy to manipulate the prices upwards as they see fit. If this is a common practice then I'm happy to steer clear. read more

We traded in a vehicle we purchased there last year because we weren't satisfied with its performance in winter. We lost money on the sale which was expected but we were told that the market had gone soft for our type of SUV and they were selling at a reduced price. They offered us over 4,000 less than what we paid 13 months prior and with an additional 20k on the odometer. We agreed to purchase a 2012 Nissan Sentra but during the test drive the car pulled to the left or right after turns so drastically it would steer you off the road. It would do the same thing on the highway. We went back and wrote into the purchase agreement that it would need to be fixed. The saleswoman marked "Needs alignment" on the paperwork. When financing went through (trade in was also financed and this car was more expensive) they called to sign the papers. When we went to sign we noticed a $400 finders fee for a lender. My wife caught the addition which they promptly disregarded as "current practice, you probably paid that before too" Funny since we were selected by the exact same company as our trade in vehicle which needed to be paid out. We postponed the sale until someone could let us know why they insisted on charging this exorbitant fee which they glazed over when asking to initial and sign the bill of sale. They agreed to a one time exception to waive the fee and we took delivery a week later. When we were contacted to pick up the car I had asked if the steering issue was resolved and was told everything was perfect, it didn't need an alignment. Odd since the car was all over the road just days before. We took delivery around 7pm that night after waiting for over an hour to meet with the lone person working the delivery office. We drove it home and called the dealership the next morning as the issue hadn't been fixed. They scheduled us in for two days later (the earliest they had) to look at the issue. The car had to sit in the garage, my wife fearing she would collide with another vehicle or veer off the road. Their mechanic took one look and told us it needed new strut arms. He test drove it for all of 10 seconds and told us that the audible noise, tight steering and extreme pull were a dead giveaway. Coincidental this vehicle just happened to pass inspection and safety at their very own dealership the day before? Now there is a verifiable issue that must be fixed causing more missed time from work and hassle. We have a feeling that a 3 year old car shouldn't need that level of work unless there is something they did not disclose and will be having a Nissan certified mechanic do a full inspection to see anything else that was conveniently overlooked to get this sale pushed through. To add insult to injury we saw our trade in advertised in the same condition as we drove it in for the exact list price we paid 13 months prior, no huge market slide, no massive reduction like they said. Just another lie to lowball you and to make the company money. Shame on you JP Motors, we were repeat customers but will refuse to return in the future. read more
