Beware: JR Columbian Emerald will not refund your money if your jewelry needs to be modified. If your jewelry needs to be modified at all, ask for a refund first within the first week, and do not send it back for modifications, because that whole process will go beyond their refund policy and you will be stuck with whatever they give you. My story is I bought an engagement ring from them, which needed the size and shape modified. Once the ring was modified for the 3rd time, over the course of many weeks, the ring was sent back misshaped and lopsided. After that, I asked for a refund because the ring just didn't look professionally made and my fiance was upset about it. Natalie (their customer support person) immediately became very aggressive and started yelling saying that I would never get a refund from them. I asked Etsy to help me but Etsy doesn't care either. We are now paying a local jeweler to remake the ring. Such a disappointment for my engagement and such a bad experience overall. Again, don't send any jewelry back for modification, just try to get your refund before the first two weeks, otherwise you'll never get any recourse for their poor workmanship. read more
