I can't say enough good things about this barber shop! I told my husband he needed to start coming here too. The barber who cut his hair, known as 'the baby whisperer' was SO wonderful! My 15 month old grandson never cried once! He even played catch with my grandson when he was done. Long story short, the hippie owner doesn't seem to take cutting hair very serious. He's a nice dude but wasn't too concerned with getting the cuts right. I had my son lined up and had to point out how uneven it was. Then the side I pointed out was neglected and instead the opposite side was cut more bringing his hairline way unnaturally up! My cut was just ok. I asked him to do skin on the side and he admitted to having a hard time blending from the skin. Even with a #1 for the fade, I had to ask him to re-blend and re-blend only to jus give up before my head got messed up. It doesn't take that long to clean some clippers. The other girl has little experience and needed help, so the older lady goes over to help her and takes her clippers n what not so that's how my second son ended up with the same rash as his brother.. on the last day of school with a gross rash. Despite explaining exactly what I wanted, the stylist did not follow my instructions, and the result was significantly different from what was requested. The lack of communication, attention to detail, and care shown during the appointment was unacceptable. A haircut can take months to grow out and correct, which makes this experience especially frustrating. I chose your shop based on its reputation and expected professional service, but I left feeling ignored and dissatisfied. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue to prevent similar experiences for other customers.
