I recently purchased a home that needed to be rekeyed. I sent out a bunch of requests for quotes through Yelp, and Fidel from JR's Lock & Key was the only one who was priced fairly and offered unlimited free copies of keys. He was punctual, polite, and very professional. Before he entered my home, he offered to take his shoes off when he noticed I didn't wear shoes in the house, which I thought was very considerate. He got right to work and was efficient. He rekeyed five cylinders to work with one key, and he gave me five copies at no extra charge. He even cleaned up any mess he made from removing/reinstalling the cylinders! Great experience with Fidel, and I would definitely use him again when I need to rekey my rental property. read more

Wow, what great service! If I could give 10 stars I would. I am the owner of a local pest control company. On the day of the Anaheim Hills fire, one of my technicians locked his keys in the truck. I tried to get to the technician myself, but after sitting in traffic for over an hour and only making it one mile, I figure this was just out of my hands and I needed to call for help to get my technician back on the road. Second time had JR come to my home to install entry door dead bolt and knob set. This time he installed the dead bolt and knob set on my garage entry door. I had to do my homework and purchase a couple of pieces of lumber and screws to reinforce the door frame prior to installing the dead bolt and knob set. JR professionally reinforced the door frame with the two pieces of lumber and screws I purchased prior to his installation. The door's hinges were also reinforced as well and he made me a couple of spare keys from his van. The garage door has never been as secure as it now is thanks to JR. Not only did his great job go easy on my wallet, but it removed an extremely stressful burden from my chest.
