Brought in my 2018 Chevy Tahoe for transmission issues slippage and hard shifting don was honest and upfront with the pricing they were one of the only shops that took our extended warranty and they did an excellent job, our Tahoe is running better and smoother then we first purchased it. Chevy was telling us it would be 3-4 month wait time Cottman got us back on the road with a new remanufactured transmission in a week. I would highly recommend Cottman transmission.

They kept the car for several days and were not able to find anything wrong with the vehicle. They did not charge my son anything for their diagnostic work and while they were not able to identify the issue, I think it is commendable that they did not charge anything. I would certainly return to this shop in the future as I can't imagine being treated more fairly.

I contacted Alex at Certified Transmission and was quoted a very fair price for a rebuilt transmission with install. Alex took the time to explain the issue we had, and why in our situation a rebuild was actually better than a new one that would have same parts that failed this time. He explained the timeline of repair, and was spot on. He even called when he received the transmission to let us know and that they were starting install. Just a first class run shop. Don't let the location fool you, this place was awesome and even gives 3yr/100k mile warranty. Nobody touches that on rebuilt transmissions! They also do other repairs here so go check them out.
