Five…read moreyears ago, this company used to be very good with communication because of Terry, their front office lady. After she left them for whatever reasons, getting somebody to pick up the phone or respond back to leaving a voice message can be hit or miss, especially during the busier summer months. Don't waste your money to buy their extended warranty because Alpha Air won't be there for you when you really need them for that expensive covered repair job. My AC died during a 100+ degree day, and I called Alpha Air several times and left a message but no answer. I finally decided to just call another AC company that came the same day to fix the problem, but of course, I had to pay out of pocket instead of being able to use the pre-paid warranty. I also had a sick, elderly parent suffering in a sweltering house so I wasn't going to wait for an unreliable company that didn't pick up their phone and will likely just say that they never got my phone call or voice message or that there was a glitch in their system. Alpha Air can do the job well if/when they want to show up so I give them one star for that and one star for Terry who no longer works for them. Based on my recent experience, however, I won't be using Alpha Air anymore and wish we had never paid for their useless extended warranty. They got their extra profit back then, but lost a long-term customer as of now. Businesses that truly deserve all their positive reviews have consistently excellent communication/customer service so they don't have to give after the fact excuses or apologetic explanations.

I called to find out what was going on. The receptionist took my name and address and said she would talk to the manager. After a brief wait she came back on the line and said that there was a "scheduling error" and some how the appointment got dropped. They can reschedule me first thing next week. So I told them I'll take Monday at 8:00 am and I better be the first appointment, cuz I"m not wasting another 4 hours of my life . So I'll follow up next week , and hopefully have something more positive to say.
