Two months later I found my unit had been broken into and most of my valuable items were stolen. The burglars were able to cut off my lock and go through every tote and box in my storage unit undetected. My unit was in a climate controlled building and found out later that both cameras in my building did not work. Other units were broken into as well. It has been three months now and the Insurance agent is trying everything in their power to not pay my claim. Burglars stole all my Christmas gifts that were brand new and I had to try to replace, all my products that I use for my job and items that were given to me after my mothers recent passing. This entire experience has been stressful beyond belief! Be careful if you store your things here and make sure you take video and photos of all your belongings in case of theft. I wish I had. I never thought that I would have to worry about theft in a gated place with cameras all over the place.
