Listen to his suggestions because he's honestly trying to get you to a quality end product within your budget that you'll be happy with. Once the scope of work is set, he writes a very detailed work proposal and contract that spells out exactly what materials and services he will provide - MUCH better than the average contractor and so important to avoid misunderstandings and disputes. Project pricing is reasonable in today's market. John's crews and specialty subcontractors do excellent work and John visits the job site frequently to ensure that the work is being done correctly and to make sure that you are happy, or to see if you have any questions. If you do have any questions or concerns, John addresses them immediately. In over 40 years of hiring and working with contractors of all kinds, I know the difference between bad, average, good and best. When I arrived home, I was impressed that half of the metal roof was already up. After near completion of this project they re-checked they're work and then anchored the posts to the concrete. This job took a good part of the day. Before departing they cleaned up the area and to my surprise, they took all remaining packaging. Stone Brothers Construction did a great job. Parts were $15 and he took 5 minutes to make a hole in the wall. Do they charge $800 labor? for 5 minutes work. We asked for Anthony to call us and explain; he did not have the courtesy to call us back. We kept getting excuses from there receptionist that he was busy!! I live in Holiday City West, in Toms River NJ. I have tried getting construction help, most of the time no one replies or replies but doesn't show up. Porch King, replied to my request immediately, came out and reviewed the roof installation and gave me a very acceptable price. I was told the project would start in about three weeks, to my surprise it was moved up to a week. I was given a 9 to 9:30 am start time, and they were on the job at 9:15 am. It was expected to take a day or a day and a half, the whole job was completed in 6 hours. The installation looks great, the area was totally cleaned up. All the workers and the boss were polite and friendly. I would recommend this company to anyone that wants a professional job and a reasonable price. Two things to note: The site for Porch King claims they accept Credit Cards, they do not anymore. Also, even though an address is given, there is no office to visit, you have to give a call for someone to come out.

I called back on Tuesday to ask them when they could start they were at my house on Friday ripped up my old bathroom floor and did the wall repairs, they were there on Saturday to tile the bathroom and they just finished the sink and vanity today .
