We agreed on a day/time for an estimate and agreed that if I found the price to be reasonable, they could take care of the job immediately. Their team provided fast and detail oriented service. It was a crew of nine. They helped remove a bunch of overgrown ivy and weeds throughout my property and hauled away a bunch of junk (some of which had been sitting around for over 20 years). There's still much to do around my house due to years of deferred maintenance, but the Santos Hauling team provided a jumpstart to refreshing my house. Good sign. I was initially hesitant to use him due to the name of the company. I had it in my mind that I needed a landscaper to correct the sink hole, but I was wrong. Upon meeting, Aldo I was impressed with his punctuality and friendliness. He gave us a very fair bid for the amount of work to be done. My wife and I felt that he was the right fit and asked him when he could start. He had his crew began the work within two hours of signing a contract that day. They came in on budget, finished the work in the agreed upon timeline and returned the landscaping to pristine condition. Mauricio is a total pro. Hadn't seen him when I was searching for reviewers, but he responded to an…read moread I posted looking for someone to lug an old arcade machine out of the bowels of my garage. Time, moisture, and spiders had rusted the machine into a 900 pound hunk of tetanus and decay, and a lot of the movers I contacted wanted outrageous prices even to try to pick it up. The bolts were stripped and the wheels were cracked, so the machine couldn't be rolled or broken down - only sheer force could drag it out of its garagey lair. Mauricio quoted me a price LESS THAN HALF of the closest competitor, showed up bang of time, and, with only one guy helping him, lifted the machine like it was made of paper. He had it down the driveway and into his truck in less than ten minutes, and this is the very same machine that took three guys almost an hour to untruck and schlep into the garage in the first place. It was amazing - if you told me that Mauricio's hobby is running marathons with a piano strapped to his back, I'd believe you. One last note. Having dealt with a lot of sketchy moving men in the past - guys just out of jail with gang tattoos on their face, guys obviously on meth, and one guy who saw my cat and told me he used to eat cats back in Cambodia - I can't tell you how relieved I was to meet Mauricio.
