Thiago and his crew has proven time and again that they are the hardest-working, most efficient, and most reasonably priced among all demolition and hauling contractors. I initially received bids from 4 different demo & hauling contractors, and A & M's team asked the right questions and showed they already had expertise and experience. Their pricing was also very competitive so I selected them. I have now gone back to Thiago for 6 or 7 other follow-up jobs and every time, him and his crew were always responsive, honest, hardworking, and they have always finished the job with the best quality and within the time frame promised. Thiago and his guys are my Go-To crew for any future demo and hauling jobs. They are all super honest and they have done an excellent job for me time and again. Often, if I see them working their butts off and sweating profusely, I would buy them pizza and/or Gatorade just to make sure I take care of them. I think that's the least we can do as customers - to take great care of the guys who bring the muscle and the physical labor, and we need to take excellent care of them. I now worry with my highest rating and excellent review, along with the hundreds of other reviews from other clients, that they would be so busy and they would likely have no more time for me and my future jobs. Had a 5pm appointment for hauling that was confirmed several times. At 4:59pm they called me asking to postpone until tomorrow. I say no. They end up showing up 1hr late, -1 star. When they did arrive, they hauled my very large dresser down 4 tight flights of stairs quite carefully, quickly, did not bang up the walls, etc. The work was good! 4 stars. read more

He met me the next day for an overview of the project and was prompt with the quote. The quote was on the lower end of the range, which was an added bonus. I'm EXTREMELY happy about this company's service! I nearly always do all of my own garden work, but this was a job that was too big and time consuming for me, and I needed the yard cleared for Thanksgiving. This was a trunk of a tree I chopped down and I would try to stuff the branches and leaves into my compost bin and refill it after it was collected every week, but this was hundreds of pounds of plant material and would take a few months to clear. I set a project on Yelp for either a wood chipping/mulching service or removal, and I got a lot of quotes, and A&M's quote by far was the most affordable ($250, vs other companies, which quoted me from $350-500). I asked what the tax and labor would cost, and to my surprise, THE PRICE GIVEN ALREADY INCLUDED THEM!! I thought it was too good to be true, but I saw the many positive reviews on Yelp, so I gave them a chance. I decided to arrange an appointment around 2p, and they said they could come as early as 8a the next day! I thought I would have to wait a few days! They came in the next morning, took everything out (and even took out other large trash items I had lying around, like a broken motorcycle rim and wheelbarrow) in less than half an hour! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I was surprised at at the price, ease of setting an appointment, and speedy service. A&M did an AMAZING job in our yard. Our back yard was riddled with invasive ivy and bramble, our property is new to us and it was evident that the previous owners had not cared for it in ages. There was a horrendous amount of overgrowth. Ivy was literally knocking down our fence. For what felt like an incredibly reasonable price, A&M Hauling tore it all out dug up the roots, trimmed back trees that were bumping up against phone and power lines. We could not be more pleased. Highly highly recommend A&M for landscaping and yard renovation. Thiago and his team helped us with a big backyard project back in winter of 2025 and we were so impressed with the experience, and are still really enjoying our yard almost half a year later. We had a lot of vegetation removed, a whole fence built including retaining wall, multiple levels of pavers put in, and a small new deck built. 1) Timing: they were quick to respond and give us a quote, and was able to start the project almost immediately. They worked diligently and finished the project based on their projections and in a timely manner. 2) Design/integrity: seeing the team work throughout, we can tell there was so much though put into making sure there's adequate drainage and other strategies to ensure longterm integrity. So far we've not had issues with water pooling. We gave the team a rough idea of what we wanted, and they were able to create and also offer helpful adjustments to the design based on their experience. 3) Communication: They were very professional and communicative throughout the process. This review is a year overdue, but hey, that just means we can speak to long-term satisfaction and any issues that came up. We had our backyard fully remodeled (we're one of the portfolio yards pictured above), which only took 3 weeks and included full excavation, leveling, new retaining walls, a new fence, and a new patio. We had 4 different companies come out to assess our backyard and provide estimates. Although we had a rough idea of what we wanted, we asked everyone for input and suggestions. Thiago stood out with his many great ideas and recommendations, his deep knowledge about materials, and his understanding of all the different types of work that would be needed. It was really impressive to see the progress every day, and the team left the area clean and tidy, which we appreciated. Thiago was great at communicating in real-time, and thanks to that, we were able to make a couple of changes during the process that ended up being even better solutions. Within about 2 months of completion we noticed 2 issues: one was the slope of a section of the patio, which was directing water the wrong way, and the other was a dip in the turf after heavy rain. When we contacted Thiago about these, he replied almost immediately both times and left no doubt that he took our concerns seriously and would make it right. Some issues only reveal themselves over time, but what truly matters is how they're handled, and Thiago has proven to be a solid and trustworthy business owner. The whole process--from start to finish, including the follow-up fixes--was very pleasant, and we love our backyard! It's not cheap, but absolutely worth it. Communication was always prompt, friendly, and professional. We're so happy we chose Thiago and his efficient, hardworking team!
