JT Glass installed ALL of our windows and sliding glass doors for a remodel that we completed in 2021. I LOVE THESE WINDOWS! We chose black aluminum framing for a very harsh environement: high desert, Morongo Valley. The double pane glass has so far weathered intense wind storms, desert sun as well as plenty of guests as our cabin is an Airbnb. I've been installing the windows on our house, but ordered one that came disassembled and was way too heavy for us. Called JT Glass & Door and left a voicemail - some people complain about this, but it's a small business - be patient. They called back in a day, gave a fair price to install, and set a date. Bryce & Jeremy showed up on time, ready to go. They made sure to chat with us about how we'd been installing, and issues we ran into, and walked us through the process. Not only were they extremely professional, they were very personable and cordial as well. Fantastic guys with a great attitude, which was a great way to start a Monday morning. They installed, cleaned up, and gave us some pointers for the windows we had left to install ourselves - though I will say, after seeing them expertly install a window so quickly, I'm thinking that it would've been well worth the cost of having them do all the windows on our home vs. doing it myself. I ordered 8 windows for my home in 29 Palms, and couldn't be happier with the results. my old windows were old, single pain and rattled in the wind. my new windows are beautiful, dual paned, argon gas and don't have a green tint, like another window expert had told me was inevitable.....the crew were nice and friendly, did a great job cleaning up and they were very prompt....I love joshua tree glass and door and will be ordering my final old window replacement from them very soon....Great value, they were very fair with their pricing. an A+! read more

Totally unprofessional. Had them come out to do an estimate for two shower enclosures. I was told they'd get back to me within 3 business days with a quote. Called to followup over a dozen times, and every single time it either goes to voicemail, or they just hang up. The one time I actually got through to someone, she told me they were working on estimates that day and I'd receive an email by end of day. Nothing. Called numerous times since, and still no answer. This has been a complete waste of my time and delayed my project over a month. Meanwhile, companies from Palm Springs, Riverside and even LA are willing to come out and give an estimate, and install within a week. I would love to speak to the owner of this business, if they ever picked up their phone. read more

I was carrying a floor lamp and was about to turn a corner when my dogs distracted me. Turned to look at them while taking one more step and heard glass shatter. Oh, oh. The lamp went right through the window. Great. I measured the window and then called two companies for a quote: JT Glass & Door and a company in Yucca Valley whose name I can't recall now. The price JT Glass & Door quoted me was less than half of what the other company charged, and they said they could send someone out to fix my window in an hour. They arrived right on time and got straight to work. Thirty minutes later I had a brand new window and they had also cleaned up all the broken glass. The price was exactly as quoted. Best company ever. I had to do a replacement because I was out of towne. I made a call early in the morning to this company and they came the next day. Had a piece of glass on hand and replaced my shattered window. Also, I didn't have cash on hand, so I basically gave the worker a copy of my Visa card and they charged me accordingly. All I can say is that this place is reasonable priced. No gimmicks no extra charging. Great customer service inside and out. I will recommenced this place in a heart beat. They are very unprofessional. I called and asked for quote and consultation to get my windows, front door and patio doors replaced. The reps who showed up were not wearing masks and I asked them if they brought their masks as I thought the consultation would take place inside. I am physically disabled and have to take extra precautions. I use a rollator and my physical disability is very obvious. They said they would only be outside and that they would be measuring windows. I went out to meet them however, they left without measuring the windows, nor was there a consultation. I called the office and I was told "we don't believe in masks". There was no dialogue beforehand. I guess they talked to the reps who came out. For me, it wasn't a big deal, but they decided to make it a big deal. Very small-minded. This shitty company won't get a dime from me. read more

It was so windy last night one of the trash can tops flew in the air and hit the window it was sitting in front of. Never will I place any of these trash cans near windows again. They did an excellent job making a large oval shaped glass piece to cover my wood table and then two oblong shaped glass for antique wood coffee tables. Now my tables won't scratch. Five stars for that work. HOWEVER I've tried to contact them to get my bathroom glass installed and it took them 2 weeks to get to my house to measure. They also measured a window...May master bedroom window smashed and I need a new window installed and I asked them to give me a price to put in better more modern double pained windows and also the price to just replace the broken glass. It's been nearly 3 weeks and I have not received an email nor a phone call back from them. I've left 5 messages in the last 2 weeks and they never pick up their phones and they never get back to their customers. I mean this is repeat business- I would like to be a life long customer but it seems they are just not interested in working?? They told me they were staying open as an essential business during the pandemic but maybe they are closing?? If anyone could tell me if they closed or not I will modify this review... anyways they could AT LEAST get back to their customers that they started projects with and kindly update us... sick of living with a broken window... read more

No thanks to the crooks that robbed my house I was left with a broken window to boot. JT Glass returned my call and came right out the next business day to replace the glass. The serviceman Ray was friendly, fast & the house call reasonably priced. I've had the opportunity to bring glass into the shop before for replacement and was equally pleased. These guys are great. They are prompt to respond, and are very knowledgeable about windows and installation. The windows Ray recommended (Millgrade) were a better quality than Home Depot and the entire bill was about a thousand dollars cheaper than Home Depot. They did a perfect job. Would I recommend them?
