A little over 2 years ago, we hired Quality Tile & Carpet to clean a very bad Berber Carpet stain in our PS condo. After all is said and done, the stain remains... it's a little better, but it's still there. QT&C lifted the carpet and replaced the padding as an extra attempt to remove the stain. Very disappointed with the customer service. I called and made an appointment days in advance for someone to meet me at my property and provide me with an estimate for some work. I offered my name, phone number, address and was told someone would come out to meet me in between the 4 hour time frame of 10-2, no one ever came. RAVE: Quality Carpet & Tile They were recommended to me on NextDoor, and I called Ken (manager) to schedule a meeting. After visiting a few stores in Palm Springs & Yucca Valley (including Home Depot), my husband & I knew our budget and the type of flooring we wanted to have installed. Ken showed us some samples, talked to us about their quality and price, and scheduled a free visit to measure the house. Their prices are great, and they were extremely friendly and responsive to my questions and calls. Within a day, Ken provided us with a few estimates for various options we had discussed. We decided to do the floors in two steps (main rooms this summer and stairwell & bedrooms next summer). We went in to pay a deposit (50%) and schedule the demo & install. The demo included pulling up carpet, layers of tile & vinyl, and baseboards. They loaded it into their truck and hauled it away, cleaning up after themselves as they worked. They even moved our heavy furniture. Larry came in to install the flooring. We chose a beautiful waterproof floor (https://www.eternityflooring.com/collections/grand-heritage-collection Sequoia color design). Larry is an artist. He expertly cut the floor to fit around the wavy rock fireplace as well as many odd-shaped obtuse angles (we have a hexagonal design in many rooms). He & his assistant worked quickly, and were very clean. They finished ahead of schedule too! I noticed the floor settled a bit odd in one tiny spot, and they rushed over the next day to fix it (no charge of course). It's perfect! We love it so much! They were such a pleasure to work with, and definitely put customer service and quality of their craft at the top of the list. I generally had a good experience. They showed up to the scheduled appointment to measure for the bid. They got back to me with the bid in a timely manner as promised. I am pleased with the installation of the finished product. Very pleased in fact. The installer was very communicative during the process. NOTE: Getting anyone to come out for the bid is half the struggle in this town. I only went with Quality Tile because the other two firms in town didn't show up for the scheduled appointment. Ken was extremely nice and helpful when I first came in to store purchased tile and set date for new shower to be done. By the time the one week job turned into 3 weeks I was not as impressed. Construction crew ripped out old fiberglass shower, along with part of the base board and wall board. Did not cover anything dust all over. Ran out of title and had to wait for more to be shipped Ken unsympathetic when I asked about it. When Ken called to see if job was completed and If I was satisfied I mentioned the base board and wall still needed repair he sent Carlos the tile man out to do repairs and hand me the bill. Very unprofessional on his part. Never came to see job or find out if I was satisfied. read more

The worst business in our town to deal with. They caused me a lot of anxiety and time. Was unlicensed doing business and blamed me for having to spend $3000 to reinstate his license . Charged me for products that were not ordered and never came as well as labor. Doesn't know how to do a change order. Tried to make me pay 35 % restocking fee for a tile that was 2 different colors after I came in the store and verified they were wrong. He said he would get the right tiles and didn't and expected me to let his installer put the wrong ones in.. Caused me to drive over 100 miles to get a product that would work with what I purchased and was already installed. Yelled at me in his store in front of my husband and a child. Threatened to put a Mechanics Lein on my home and sue me when I could have sued him for 3 times the job plus tear out. The only reason I let the job get completed was because his installer had already done 2 thirds of the job. He was polite and professional. Never again ! I have photos . read more

While they tried to do the job we asked for they do not have the experience for higher end finishes. Wanted a nice waterfall for our granite install and it did not deliver on what you would expect. After install we noticed a crack in the granite and they seemed to not care. They don't call for satisfaction levels and in fact their communication is very poor. Used them years ago and the quality since has declined dramatically. Would not recommend at all. read more
