The job was done well, the communication between their team is amazing, their estimate included all aspect of the job including clean up...i.e. stump removal and raking (there were no surprise fees at the end of the work), and their prices are very fair! When they were finished there was absolutely no evidence they had been there, except there were fewer trees! On the trees they only trimmed branches from, the cuts were safe for the preservation of the tree being trimmed. The crew were all considerate and helpful, a pleasure to have working in our yard! This 'business' has had a contract with our condo for about 3 years and the service has been…read moreterrible. They do not have the equipment or the staff to fulfill their contracts and we are regularly unable to get out of our homes and to our cars. When they do clear the snow, they are using shovels and they don't understand that snow removal is ongoing so we get left for days with no snow removal. It has always been bad quality and service, but now I am partially disabled and I am stuck here for days at a time. I missed a doctor appointment again this week. Yes, it's cold, but a snow blower with a cab attachment can be great. I used to have a house in Grand Haven by the lake and I would go out and blow snow 2 to 3 times a day (my kid wanted the basketball court cleared after school) and it was easier if I didn't let it get behind. It's Michigan and if your business is to remove snow, you should remove snow! Pretty simple and they get paid because they are contracted. Bad service + bad quality

I have never submitted a yelp rating but felt compelled to do so in the case. Landtech re-did our…read moreseawall last spring. They removed old wood and replace it with erosion control coir logs. We selected one of the options they offered that did not include riprap, as we had no reason to suspect it was needed or would serve any valuable purpose. Over the course of this past winter our shoreline deteriorated in multiple locations. The yard running along the coir logs sunk allowing water from the lake to erode the dirt and grass that had butted up against the logs. In addition, one of the logs separated from the other which created a gap where extensive erosion has occurred. Other issues include wooden stakes being left protruding in the yard which had been pounded in to secure Jute Netting and finally (resulting in countless stubbed toes throughout the summer), and the rope/twine that connects the water stakes and logs were broken in many places. The people at Landtech assessed the shoreline this spring and attributed the issues to muskrats. They agreed to repair to the shoreline, but that was in late March and it has been radio silence since then. I like the people at this company, but I am not pleased with the work they did, especially given the amount of money it cost. I will not be recommending their services to my friends and neighbors on the lake.
