I was hesitant to go to tutoring because I thought I didn't need help until my chemistry grade went down. I freaked out so I called Ms. Jeani for help. Ms. Jeani is very supportive and encouraging. I work with both Ms. Lana and Ms. Karen for help in Chemistry and they have been so helpful in helping me get an A in chemistry. Not only do they provide extra worksheets to help me prepare for tests but they also make sure to take their time explaining difficult concepts. My kids used to go here before we moved away. Ms. Jeani, the director works so hard to accommodate each student's needs and works extra hours to make sure that students reach their fullest potential. She even emailed their teachers on my behalf. Therefore, my kids always focused in school because they knew that Ms. Jeani would be on them if they slacked off. I am a retired atty and did some teaching. It is not an easy job determining all the needs of a student to help him improve or even maintain a high level of performance. We have been with jeanne a year+ and son has been in a demanding schools. His homework was unusually voluminous and difficult but maintained A GRADES. J TUTORS AND JEANNE have helped him learn how to complete homework quickly and efficiently and learn the concepts and methods of algebra last year and geometry this summer [very complicated stuff for high school coming up] . Each tutor possessed appropriate skill level keeping pressure on when required and praise when needed to encourage [important for my son] and criticism as required. We have used other tutors who were acceptable for certain needs like memorizing tables and incentive programs with games etc., but i will conclude by saying Jeanne's customized approach has assisted my son with efficiency, productivity and helped him maintain his attraction to and command of math instead of "burning out". They also helpful to him address other areas like science, ELA, history etc., It is unusual for me to leave such a long support and I would not want to create a rush on J TUTORING because a couple students per tutor has been successful for our family. Other supporters are correct, Jeanne has been honest, fair, compassionate with the kids and flexible, kind, generous and open to our family where other programs have been at times very greedy and cold. We started going to JTutoring this previous summer to build up some math skill for my two sons. The owner, Ms Jeani met with us to discuss what are our needs. She gave the boys an accessement test to see what levels they are at. She was very sweet and kind and patient with them. Each week you receive a report stating exactly what the tutor worked on and how your kids are doing. She makes herself available all day long because many parents have to work 9-5. The tutors take their time to review problems and provide students with extra practice problems. At the beginning of my senior year, I decided that I needed the extra help in some classes.
