Ms. Patton goes above and beyond to make the afternoon experience special. She takes the extra steps to decorate their designated areas with beautiful crafts the children have made. Her creativity shines through in the activities she plans; she goes way beyond standard crayon coloring by introducing engaging sensory bins and incorporating practical life skills like cutting with scissors. Ms. Gallo was very informative during the meet & greet and helped eased a lot of my anxieties putting him into a new environment. When he officially started, Ms. Gallo would call and gave updates on how he was doing. Every day after class, she would let us know how his day went and continued to reassure that things would get better. Our son took to her right away. She has been warm, empathetic, and observant of his needs. Over the past couple months, our son has begun to really thrive! He is more confident in himself and very independent. He has taken the skills that he's learned in school and has started generalizing to home. He grabs his plate and utensils when it's meal time. He cleans up after himself when he's done eating. He uses the potty, cleans up, and washes his hands independently. His speech has grown exponentially. He went from speaking in simple sentences with improper grammar and pronoun usage to speaking in complex sentences. It is apparent that his language abilities are really being fostered in class. It is amazing how much he's grown in such a short amount of time. He talks about his friends daily and tells me how much he loves Ms. Gallo. We are so happy that Ms. Gallo is our first teacher and so excited to see how much he'll continue to grow.

It's great to be able to attend a couple days a month especially when you're a new mom and nervous about your child attending school the first time. It's rewarding feeling to help out, see what your child is doing and how the classroom runs. You can see the love of what she does and the care for each child. I learned SO much from Mrs Rebecca especially how to handle tough situations with toddlers just by watching her do her magic. She's incredible.
