DO hire Mir if you want: 1 - to call, email, text your photographer repeatedly before he ever answers. 2 - to be repeatedly lied to and told your pictures will be ready in 4-6weeks then wait weeks before you are told the same thing again. 3 - him to cancel on your engagement session. 4 - to only have pictures of the bride and groom from the wedding; everyone else will either not be pictured or will have blurry pictures and you will be told THEY were not standing still so its not his fault. 5 - to only have 2-3 pictures with your immediate family at the wedding and even those will not be clear. 6 - him to try to trick you into giving up all your rights to your pictures. 7 - to not ever receive your wedding albums. 8 - to eventually file a complaint in court to get your wedding albums. If you are hiring him for the most memorable day of your life - think twice.

I am so glad I was able to find her as her photos are beyond amazing and she's such a nice person to communicate with, even though it was just a mini session. I can only imagine the extra details and coordination she does for a full session. This year's session was $375 for 3 digital photos. Adding more digital were at an additional charge [of course]. Love that Santa was included! This year's holiday photo session took place outdoors in a Katy, wooded area. We were able to do a family session, kids session, and sessions with Santa. Santa was perfect! He was dressed in his finest red suit and had the perfect fluffy white beard. He intereacted with my boys as well, allowing them to tell him what they wanted for Christmas. Everyone was very patient with my boys and was able to get amazing photos. Though it was a "mini" session, I loved the multiple options she gave for us to do within that 20 min time frame. My sister had also booked a mini holiday session right after us and she was so reluctant to take photos of all of our 5 boys together ! [ I have 2 and my sister has 3]. Her communication throughout the whole thing was great! So responsive and had a quick and reasonable turn around time. She even asked for an special request of edits which she beautifully granted. I had a high slit dress that was a bit revealing and she was able to make it more modest. The photos speak for themselves. I highly recommend MJ for your photography needs. As we all know, videographers ARE NOT cheap, but they're absolutely necessary if you really want to capture the magic of your wedding day for years to come. When I came across Chad's videos, I was stunned: they were so cinematic, beautiful, and full of emotion. Then, when I saw how affordable his packages were in comparison to other videographers, there was no doubt in my mind that I had found our videographer. We booked him right away, and he turned out to be one of our favorite vendors to work with. + VERY PROFESSIONAL: On our wedding day, the team set to work and knew exactly what to do and what to capture without getting in anybody's way. They only pulled me and/or my husband aside 2-3 times to "stage" a shot, but other than that, they left us alone to enjoy our special day. + CAPTURED EVERYTHING: The team captured all the special moments I was hoping to see: from the little things like our custom-made cake-topper and other décor, to the big things like our sparkler grand exit and my husband wiping away happy tears as he saw me coming down the aisle. They did a great job of dedicating more screen time to our bridal party and parents, but still zoned in on a variety of our guests so that everyone had a chance to shine. + VERY ACCOMODATING: Chad was more than happy to incorporate any requests I had for our video, which ranged from playing a particular song to incorporating a specific part of someone's speech. I really wanted our video to have certain elements, so it meant the world that Chad was so easy to work with. + QUICK TURNAROUND: We received our highlight video about 2 1/2 weeks after our wedding day. Our 2-3hrs of raw footage will take a little longer, but at least we have something to watch in the meantime. - QUALITY VARIES: I've noticed that the quality DOES vary depending on the package you choose. Some of the shorter, cheaper packages aren't as "cinematic." I really encourage you to take a look at the different videos on their website to determine what style you're looking for and how much it will cost. - MAY NOT BE ABLE TO MEET: With my Type A "perfectionist" personality, this was an issue for me at first. I was a very "hands-on" bride that wanted to double-triple-quadruple check every little detail with my vendors, so when Chad assured me that meeting wouldn't be necessary, I was very skeptical. However, he turned out to be right. We met him on the day of our wedding, and everything still turned out to be perfect. Just wanted to give other brides a heads-up! Overall, Chad and his team at Rethinkvideo were a delight to work with. We're very, very pleased with their work and we would definitely recommend them for all your videography needs. They have an eye to see things from the most flattering and unique angles. I booked them to cover 4 days of my wedding events and didn't meet anyone from the team until the day and hour of the events. Chad is a great communicator over phone/email and will do his absolute best to take care of all the details you want covered- no matter how long it takes! They have only covered a couple of Indian weddings so far, but I personally feel that their finished product is better than any other videography team that is super familiar with Indian weddings and their traditions. They were cooperative and very respectful of all traditions, customs and family members. I had some preferences for background music, and they completely worked with me and did a better job with my own music than if i could have arranged it myself. I am super excited to show my wedding video to my family and friends because I know they did a beautiful job of telling a story that is true to the personality of my husband and myself.
