We contracted with Admiral to provide us with two movers for two hours (the minimum time required…read moreby the company) to load our moving truck, which we drove ourselves to our final destination. The booking process was somewhat rocky, with the company taking several days to call me back and then several more days after that to send me the final move details. But ultimately I appreciated the formality of the process and the clear contract terms in writing. On the day of the move, our two movers arrived on time and with their own dolly. They were great overall and managed (with our help) to get all of our furniture into our van--a feat I was not sure would be possible when I realized how much stuff we have. We tipped each mover in cash for their hard work. My primary complaint is that we were charged for 2.5 hours of work when the movers were at our home for only 1.5 hours. Even with transportation time to/from their warehouse included, our total time should have been within the 2 hour window we were quoted, as our home is only a 7 minute drive from their company. I was annoyed that we were charged more by the company for no apparent reason, other than they could.

They repeatedly asked for more money before the move even during AFTER I already paid. He waited until he loaded the truck to ask. Even if it wasn't "concrete" him even asking for more money was unprofessional and truly offended me. I have all my receipts, messages, and I screenshotted their entire website. When I posted my experience on facebook, they left a very distasteful reply and people responded to how unprofessional they were and of course, they didn't reply back or take accountability for it. My receipt has handwritten marks of them trying to add more charges on my move yet the receipt says it would NEVER be altered by hand therefore my receipt is null and void and a new one should have been given. Not to mention, they didn't get all of my belongings. He told me DURING the move they he doesn't move shoe boxes, yet this was never stated and of course NOT ON THEIR WEBSITE! I have moved 5 times and movers never questioned my shoe boxes. You cannot have restrictions and it's not in writing. And you cannot verbally say things the day of the move. This experience truly affected my mental health. They didn't take accountability for being almost an hour late either. I booked in April btw so this is not like it was a last minute move. I honestly wouldn't have made a post if my bed was put back together. ALSO i had an 65in tv, of course i didn't want it on the truck so i asked him to put it in my car. he did no questions asked, but did he bring it up to my new apartment NO! He said he put it in my car as a courtesy but if i couldn't do it myself, how tf would i be able to get it out myself??? my other movers never questioned that. it is also what? NOT STATED IN WRITING!!! He has these imaginary policies in place that are nowhere to be found. Those are the type of questions you asked when building a quote! I did everything right on my end. They re-taped our boxes if they appeared weak and brought boxes for things we considered fine unboxed (such as our mattress). All of our possessions arrived on time, safe and sound. Ever carton was accounted for. They even held our check for a couple of days until we got paid. I don't know how you could go wrong with this mover. If we move again, they will be our first call. They wouldn't take a credit card, but they did accept cash or a personal check.

That is, after all, what a review is for. To clarify, I contacted you through this app on the 20th, you are correct. However, I called and spoke with someone on the 9th, 11 days before commenting through this app. He asked what I had to move, did it have stairs and where was I moving from and to where and also asked what date I needed you for. I told him the date that I had to be out by was the 30th and I could be flexible as long as it was by the 30th. He informed me that someone would be contacting me back with a price and date at that time. I never heard back anything by phone and even tried calling again with no answer a couple of times. I then posted through this app with the project scheduling on the 20th, four days before your defensive comment back to me, without an apology, I might add. If I could give zero stars for this company I would just on the basis of you not offering an apology for my experience and getting defensive with me when I'm just posting my experience with your company for others to be able to make an informed decision based on reviews. This isn't personal, I don't know you. I just simply did not have a good experience with your company.

Crew of four arrived 1/2 hour early, moved furniture, removed…read moreold flooring, patched and leveled floor, placed underlayment, installed new LVT, put furniture back, and cleaned up- all in one day! I was expecting them to take three days, but even a power outage didn't slow them down. They were very professional, worked efficiently, and did a quality job, all at a very reasonable price. I was very impressed! I will definitely contact them again if I ever need flooring installed.
