The duck meat was tender and flavorful, the skin crisp and the portion massive. I loved that the steamed pancakes were separated by thin paper layers, so they didn't stick together. The brisket fried rice was good - I still prefer roast pork, but that's a matter of personal taste. The Chicken Pad Thai had a wonderful flavor and balance - but the noodles were overcooked, and so a bit gummy. The orange Chicken had wonderful flavor, and I really enjoyed the perfectly cooked orange peel. Unfortunately, the chicken was overcooked - and a bit stringy. The bao buns were disappointing. The Brisket was not sauced and it was a bit dry. There was a sauce over the top, but it would have been much better had the brisket been dressed. Fortunately, the Square Grouper Tiki Bar was just a few steps away from where we boarded the boat. We split an order of coconut shrimp with sweet-and-sour sauce, along with a "Chubby Cuban" sandwich (I can relate ). The shrimp were perfectly cooked, and the Cuban was well made and satisfying. The fresh-hot fries were crispy and a perfect pairing with a tasty post-dive meal. To complete the recovery process, we washed it all down with a couple of ice-cold bottled beers while soaking up the laid-back waterfront atmosphere and some live music. Friendly service, good food, cold drinks, and an ideal location for divers, anglers, and anyone looking to enjoy a little slice of Jupiter. They have an ATM to get cash to turn in to quarters for $3. They also have an outdoor patio with lots of TVs and it's own jukebox. So when selecting your touch tunes make sure you select inside or outside. For 3 shots, 3 beers, and 1 craft cocktail the bill was only around $40. The bartenders are extremely welcoming and warm. It's the standard bar/restaurant selection, Padron, Liga Privada, Cohiba, Arturo Fuente, Acids, Tabac, etc. The humidor seems to be kept and the right humidity. You select your stick and the bartender gets it/them out for you, I imagine this is a good way to keep people out of the humidor that don't need to be in there. The humidity in Florida is so high, I would imagine they also do this to keep RH levels solid. Props to the good ventilation, they were able to leave the front door open, and the smoke eaters do a really good job. All in all, it's a good time, like I said it's a busy bar, so expect some shenanigans, but it's all in good fun. It was a good chance to get out of this wind and smoke a cigar properly.
