Manager was defensive, dismissed my experience, and relied solely on his own version of events. He also redirected the conversation toward comments made by an intoxicated guest rather than addressing staff conduct. He became defensive when I misunderstood him to be Irish, and proceeded to change the topic to what he identifies as - nationality wise. When I stated I would leave a review as I did not feel heard, he indicated he was fine with that and ended the conversation. Additionally, during a second call to where I wanted to inquire about speaking to higher management, I overheard a staff member respond with "Again??!!!" before answering, which reflects a concerning attitude toward customer feedback. Service in the upstairs billiards area was also slow, suggesting staffing issues. For a venue operating in a high-profile location associated with Hilton Hotels & Resorts, this level of customer handling is concerning. Situations involving patrons; particularly in nightlife settings, require professionalism, composure, and strong management oversight. The current approach risks negatively impacting guest experience and brand reputation. We always enjoyed this restaurant but the other night we went and there was a table of 12 all playing Irish music which would have been fine but you couldn't even hear the person next to you and they never took intermission! The special was corned beef and cabbage, red salty meat ( real Irish corned beef is gray) four small potatoes,which were fine and TWO leaves of cabbage no carrots,parsnips or anything else. So sad and it used to be fun. My friend got the chicken pot pie , they were well known for and it had a whole chicken breast not even cut up. I hope the new owners take more interest in this place. I find the service and consistency to be great. It's become my go to place. The minute you walk in you're greeted and pampered for the evening. The thing I wish they had were more seafood and vegetable varieties. I'd like to see specials change and not just rotate by the day of the week. Other than that I'm always recommending it to friends and all seem to have enjoyed it. As you look around the pub the decor and ambiance stands out. We went to check out one of my favorite local bands Hurricane Breeze. Sat at the bar and Vicki wad our bartender she was awesome and the food was really good. And you get a lot for your money. Definitely will go back and hope to see more live music. I got the fish and chips subbed the chips for the mac n cheese and it was so good. My husband got the bangers and mash and loved it. I love this place so much!! The food is amazing!! The service is amazing! The ambiance, the music, location. I love it all. I have eaten here about 4 or five times and I have always tried something new. EVERYTHING is delicious!! These meals are from family recipes and they are all so comforting. I've tried all the week-night specials and they come with dessert which has been a different thing each time but all delicious! My very favorite thing here is the scones they serve before the meal!!!! I think I'm addicted. Our server tonight was little Debbie and she made the night so enjoyable! What a pleasant person. My friend is from Ireland and so she wanted to come here. We decided that going back home at the peak hour of 4 pm we would be in bad traffic. This was the perfect stop because they had happy hour from 4 to 7 pm. The bar was filled with people having a good time. We sat at a table and the waitress was from Dublin very personable and sweet. First time dining at McCarthy's, the place was packed at 5:15 on a Tuesday. Ten minute wait for a table but found three seats at the bar. Our bartender was Amber who explained to us the most popular dishes. She recommended the chicken pot pie that two of us ordered. This dish is served with a pastry puff (almost as bid as my head) with a bowl of chicken and gravy with mashed potatoes, and peas and carrots on the side. The pastry is pulled apart with the chicken and gravy poured on top. The chicken was melt in your mouth tender. Not your traditional pot pie, but the best I've ever had. My other friend had then bangors and mash that was very good as well. Their in house bread was great as well. All the staff was super friendly. We really enjoyed the Shepard's Pie! And the chicken pot pie was delicious however we only gave it four starts as it could have included traditional vegetables like peas and carrots in the pot pie. This was my first time getting food from this pub. I wanted to get a good corned beef and cabbage meal. The reviews did not disappoint! The service was adequate for how slammed they were in St. Patrick's day. I had to wait 45 minutes for the take out order I placed at 3 pm for a 6 pm pick up time and I didn't get the sides that were supposed to come with the meal. The food and service was excellent however the ambiance caused me to have a splitting headache. Now the rest of the story McCarthys eliminate a booth or 2 to put in a stage for singers and their amplifiers. The room is small and the singer and his instruments were overwhelming. We were in a booth with another couple whom we hadn't seen in awhile. We had to shout over the music and the other diners shouting to be heard. I think this is a perfect restaurant. I have tried just about everything on the menu: Beef Stroganoff, Shepherds Pie, Chicken Pot Pie, Hamburger & Escargot(perfect) Everything is absolutely delicious. But also the staff and bartenders are the best; so friendly and have been there for years. The look of the restaurant is wood with some photos of family members and past entertainers on the wall. Beware when ordering via uber eats from this restaurant, they have pricing mistakes in the menu and ordering system. I called them prior to placing an order because it was doubling the cost of an item (10 chicken wings) from $12 to $24. The price on the Uber eats menu is $12 for this item see pics). When you try to add it to your cart it makes you select "10 wings" as an option/upgrade after you click it and then it double charges you in error. When I spoke to the staff (who spoke to a manager) they told me it wasn't their problem and that I should call Uber eats (which doesn't take calls lol). I explained it's a mistake from when they set their menu up (That's YOUR fault not mine so be responsible and fix it instead of ripping people off and refusing to help a long time customer). The wings and other food is great but I'm not paying double for their laziness and unwillingness to resolve the issue, so I'm explaining it again here and hopefully they see this message and follow up with Uber eats and me. read more

Atmosphere not very "Pub-ish" but what do you expect from a strip mall? Very good bangers and mash, chicken pot pie, and lamb lollipops. The "Shepard's" pie (made with ground beef) was tasty but would have better served with lamb. To be proper, it should be called Cottage Pie if you don't use lamb. Server was not very familiar with the menu. Did not know where fish was from for "fish and chips". By the way, it was frozen haddock. Did not try many menu items. Almost like the server was given a ticket book and hit the floor. She was nice though. I blame management. A restaurant here Jupiter 1 mile from the inlet - that doesn't offer fresh local fish - is not someplace I will come back to eat fish from. Came here, a local restaurant/bar on the recommendation of my neighbors. New location for McCarthy's, with an excellent outcome. This location had two other restaurants that did not do well. Both closed shortly after opening, but Mc Carthy's was packed on a Friday night and by the time we left, there was a crowd waiting outside, for a table. Our friend order the specialty, Shepard's Pie which was a huge portion and delicious. Her husband ordered the fish tacos, an appetizer, which was large enough for dinner, and also a delicious choice. My husband and I ordered hamburgers which were very good, large but not thick. The roll and accompanied potatoes, (I had the roasted red skin choice) were very good also. With reasonable prices, and good food, it's no wonder the place gets crowded! We will return to try some of the other menu items and their wide selection of beer. read more

Stopped in here for a night cap. Place was recommended by a local resident. Expected a somewhat run down Irish joint but was pleasantly surprised to find a super clean modern establishment. There is a large bar area. Marybeth and Vickie poured some great drinks. We didn't eat there but the place had plenty of diners and the food looked and smelled good. The restaurant has a wall that separates it from the pub so It is quieter and you can have a conversation at dinner. The wait staff was very helpful and prompt. Peter, our server was very good. We were there about 6:00 on a Saturday night and it was still happy hour so drinks were less. The scones are very good and are served instead of bread, a nice change. On member ordered Shepherd's pie and could only eat 1/2 of it. I ordered a summer special chicken francine. It came with a good salad and dessert.
