A phenomenal band! Lost Wax played at our wedding in Vail, CO a few months ago and . We found Lost Wax online, and read many l reviews, and even watched videos they had on YouTube which was very helpful. We contacted Chris to see their availability which they were and discussed pricing. They were very reasonably priced for a 5 piece live band including travel and accommodations. Luckily, we were able to meet Chris in person and discuss a set list, timing and other small details. Chris is extremely knowledgeable and gave us great guidance. At our request Chris even included a band member to play a few songs during the ceremony at the top of the mountain for free! During the reception Lost Wax had a very upbeat and party vibe. They did a great job of playing the songs we requested for first dances and played a great set list during the wedding. I would also like to add that Lost Wax played at another wedding the night before our wedding, and the flights to our city were cancelled. Chris and team rented a van and drove through the night to make it to Vail on time. They showed up played an awesome set with high energy and we never knew what had happened until a few days later! If you rate with four stars on this site, you're apparently saying "Yay, I'm a fan" and if you select five stars, you're shouting "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" The adjectives left on the reviews are all superlative, though "Best" gets the most ink. We can't decide what string of descriptive words to leave here. So, though we could repeat them all, we would tell you that Chris Davis and every member of the band played as if they were family - with love and passion not just for the music, but for the bride and groom as well. It's a blessing that the 111-year-old, great oak floors at our venue were so strong, because that dance floor was smokin' hot last Sunday night. There was not a guest of any age that wasn't engaged and moving. And if all that weren't reason enough to hire a band, we can add that they were so dedicated, such team players, that they pitched in and moved the ceremonial huppah from the dance floor inside back to the patio, after a rainstorm had forced indoor set-up in the morning. That was way, way, WAY above the call of duty, contract, or expectation! How amazing, how un-repayable, how caring is that? read more

These guys (and gal) are the best wedding band I've ever experienced. We saw them for the first time at a bar in Kansas City. Then they played at a friend's wedding a few months later. At both events no one left the dance floor until they stopped playing. So naturally we had to have them play our wedding. And they delivered! The dance floor was packed with young and old guests from start to finish. They do a great job of mixing older/classics with newer songs so that guests of all ages want to dance. At times in the night, the singers came off the stage and were dancing on the floor with the guests and they even let a few people do some guest vocals. It was a blast. The best part: I didn't have to give them a list of songs or do much work at all. You tell them the types of guests you'll have, any songs you don't want them to play, and they do the rest. If you want a band that will ensure a good time at your party or reception, I strongly suggest you hire Lost Wax! read more

BEST BAND EVER!!!! If you are looking for an amazing band who will ROCK the night away for your wedding or event, JUKEBOXX MEDIA/LOST WAX is your band!!! We had them perform at our wedding, and people are still talking about how awesome the band was. They offer a wide variety of music and had the dance floor packed the entire evening!! We hired Jukeboxx Media to provide the band and DJ service for our wedding reception in September. The band was absolutely fantastic (as was the DJ). Jukeboxx Media worked with us using our provided song lists to create an incredible band. They are easy to work with and extremely professional. The dance floor was packed the entire night and the band/dj played all the songs we wanted to hear on our wedding night. All night my husband and I were told by our guests that the band was incredible and the best they had ever heard at a wedding reception! I honestly don't know where to start. Lost Wax played at our wedding and absolutely killed it !! The dance floor was packed the entire night, they played songs that catered to all of our guests, and compliments continue to pour in on how this band was THE BEST they've heard at any event. Not to mention he closed the night out with letting my husband and I on stage to end the night with the best finale. They were so much fun and I will be recommending them to anyone looking for the best kind of entertainment. I can`t say enough positive things about this group, from start to finish they were better than advertised, even the Garth Brooks cover song!!!. They brought an energy to our wedding reception that provided for a full dance floor all night, from young to old. Lost Wax BLEW our minds! We are so happy we booked them for our wedding. Chris was so helpful leading up to the day getting everything planned and organized. No one stopped dancing and each song was better than the last. Not only did we love their sets, but Dave was also the M.C. during the reception and it was so smooth. Chris Davis, Jukeboxx Media, and Lost Wax played my daughters wedding at Mildale Farm 1/16/16. They also played at the ceremony. It was beautiful from beginning to end, 4PM till 11:45PM. The instrumentals as well as the vocalists were professional. They made planning simple and really individualized everything. They provided the music for my daughter's wedding this June. We could not have been more pleased. They met with the bride and groom to discuss the type of music they wanted. I got to add some songs. We chose the songs for the first dance and father/daughter dance which we were able to customize into a medley which they performed.
