This dentist did NOT treat me for a tooth infection. She missed it entirely. I'm not sure that she even looked inside my mouth. MANY days later, I had to text her to ask why I did not get a prescription for an antibiotic when I was in her office with tooth pain. She did text me back with a prescription. Later in a face-to-face conversation, she provided me with an UNREASONABLE excuse for lack of proper treatment. Do YOU want to see a dentist like that?!!! She has replied to my review, stating that her practice is predicated upon respect and HONESTY. Of course she is!!! The whole experience was a nightmare. Don't worry Dr Fredricks. I would like to share my experience with Dr. Fredericks and staff. The professional office staff and Dr. Fredericks is exceptional. Dr. Fredericks takes time to discuss dental history and proposed future visits. The office is welcoming and the discussions were open. I appreciated Dr. Fredericks knowledge, professional demeanor and communication style. Dentist are not in my top ten places to visit on a Friday but this visit was a good experience. I do not recommend going to this office. The hygienist made me super uncomfortable and did a horrible job cleaning my teeth for my routine check up. Dr. Fredericks didn't ever come to see me to check to make sure everything was healthy and normal. In my point of view, what's the point in going to the dentist, if you're not even going to see the dentist? Another major concern was apparently I had a "cavity" from my previous exam, but nobody ever informed me that I had one! They made a huge deal out of it saying I needed to schedule an appointment to get it filled right away. I told them nobody even told me I had a cavity, but she insisted it was me. I have visited 2 different dentists and they both said I didn't have a cavity! Dr Fredericks needs to stop getting her patients mixed up, and needs to value her patients a bit more. I hate the dentist. The idea of strangers putting their hands in my mouth will never sit well with me. I used to put off my dentist appointments for way too long until I found Dr. Fredericks office in 2015. She and her staff make the experience of having my teeth cleaned not only tolerable, but a little enjoyable as well. The office is a calm and comfortable place to be and everyone is very friendly. I appreciate the reminders (via text!), the thorough communication about my appointments, the treatment process if needed, and the discussions about a plan for me to keep my teeth healthy. My favorite is the warm lavender scented wash cloth at the end. Dr. Fredericks and her team really are as good as it gets. read more

What a pleasant experience! Leah was so incredibly attentive and thorough! She explained what was going to do and what was going to be happening in my mouth. She was a joy to spend my morning with! Dr. Fredericks and her staff are aMaZiNg!!! When you walk in you're greeted by Kimberly and her warm smile. The office has a nice warm, calming vibe. Dr. Fredericks has wonderful bedside manners always asking if there's concerns I have. You can tell she truly cares about her patients and their needs and she's not just there to get that next Rolex or Mercedes (not that there's anything wrong with having those but she genuinely is there for her patients). I want to start with stating that I never leave reviews for businesses but I always use them as my choice maker. I read the reviews for Dr. Fredericks and was happy with the good reviews. There were several bad reviews but I thought I would give it a try. My husband and I were both so happy with the environment of the office, the front desk staff (Brittyn), the hygienist (Megan) and Dr. Fredericks. The amount of time Dr. Fredericks took to review everything regarding my teeth was amazing. I have never had a dentist review my chart and go over better practices the way she did. I waited to write my review until I had seen the hygienist so I could really evaluate the company. Megan did an amazing job cleaning my teeth. She covered things with me that I have never had explained. Plus Brittyn is the most amazing woman ever. She is so friendly, thorough and welcoming. I hadn't been to the dentist in several years, if I had known it was going to be this comfortable I would have gone a long time ago. Dr Fredericks and her staff make you feel welcomed. I had quite a bit of work that needed to be done and they never made me feel bad about it. They offered me warm blankets, pillows and I was even able to watch a movie or listen to music to help keep my mind off of being at the dentist. I've been seeing Dr. Fredericks for at least 6 years or more. She is kind, compassionate and has made numerous personal follow up phone calls as a result of major dental work. My Fiance and I always have a great experience when we come here. The receptionist is super friendly and accommodating and she remembers us by name, which is nice. They are willing to work with you if you need to arrange a payment plan or cant cover all the bill at once. The Dental hygienists always do a good job at making sure my fiance is comfortable and not in any pain. After their treatments they give her a warm towel to wash up with and never makes us feel rushed out the door. They take their time and I feel as if they are doing their very best for my fiance. Dr. Frederick's has done two crowns for her which we have no problems with and she is always super friendly and explains everything in layman's terms. I am from a family of dentists. My uncle has been a dentist more than you have been on this planet. My cousin is a well respect dentist as well. My brother used to manage a company that specialized in making dental products. As soon as you alleged that I needed a new crown to save my tooth, I reached out to them for their opinion and found out that it was not necessary and my current dentist didn't even find a reason to mention any issues with that tooth. As far as your statement of me not contacting you, it is simply not true. Problem #1: My mouth guard was getting old (over 10 years with no cracks) and you stated that I needed a replacement and yours would be smaller and better. You sold me a mouth guard that lasted only a few days before a section broke off it. I immediately called your office and brought it in, you filed the edges and told me that it was good to go. You said the break didn't affect the functioning of the mouth guard. Quite a big chunk broke off. How is it not going to impact it? Problem #2: You stated that, your office offers mouth guard cleaning. Both times I handed it over to your receptionist, I got it back without any cleaning done so I gave up bringing it. Problem #3: I am still not getting why you are still calling the last appointment a hygiene one. I specifically asked for a dental check on a sensitive tooth. The person who answered the phone said since my next cleaning is due soon, let's get your cleaning done the same day after your exam. This was specifically supposed to be an exam, not a cleaning. Your office wanted to do a cleaning after the exam since I was coming. Your newly hired dental hygienist sat me on a chair and said she would be right back. A few minutes later, your employee stated that she would be using a dental laser pen to search for any anomalies. She scanned the teeth, but you were in your office. I was surprised since I specifically asked for you to examine my teeth not a dental hygienist who trained for cleaning teeth not doing an exam. After she completed the exam, she said she would go and talk to you. It took her a little while and she came back to tell me that you looked at her findings and did not see any issues. I was kind of shocked, you wouldn't want to come and see your patient. Prior to this, you would come out and examine my mouth. One of you are not telling the truth now. Was your dental hygienist not telling the truth that day? Problem #4: Your previous dental hygienist was great, she was great at what she was doing. For a couple of years, she cleaned my teeth, I had no issues. She always did 3 treatments, scraping, washing, and fluoride. When she was done, gave me the complimentary tooth brush, tooth paste, and dental floss. Plus a warm washcloth to wipe my face off. When your new dental hygienist took over, I felt like I was downgraded from first class to economy. During cleaning, she did not use fluoride and she skipped the water cleaning. She stated that I needed to pay extra to get that due to not being covered by the insurance I told her that it was the first time I heard this. She then checked my coverage and said oh it is covered. After completing the cleaning, she didn't give me the regular toothbrush, paste, and dental floss. During my last visit, she did the same thing and this time she handed me the toothpaste and brush without the dental floss, and not into a bag. It was weird that she did not even think about putting them in a small bag. Problem #5: When I gave my review, I was very brief and I put my honest opinion about my experience. Your husband reached out to me and threatened to file a lawsuit against me because you are entitled to a 5-star rating. It wasn't that he e-mailed me, it was that he threatened me. I understand a 1-star rating can be very bad since you don't have that many reviews. One of the things I liked about your place was it was always easy to get an appointment anytime, any day. I don't see this as hurting you, since you got 2 more 5-stars after my review. Good luck in your practice. read more

I've been searching for the perfect dentist for my family since first moving to Washington 3 years ago and am thrilled to be able to say thanks to Dr. Fredericks and her awesome staff, my search is finally over. From the moment i walked in until the time I walked out the door it was obvious Dr. Fredericks and staff had put considerable thought and effort into every detail of my experience. Though I can't remember her name, my hygienist was warm and friendly and went out of her way to make me comfortable during my cleaning. WOW. I am 61 years old and have had bad teeth all of my life so I have seen many dentists, Dr. Fredericks is the BEST by far of any. I just cannot say enough about how thorough her exam was, how kind and competent she is, how caring and efficient her staff is, or how soothing and beautiful her office is. No matter what your dental care needs are, this woman is the best in her field. You simply cannot do better. My entire extended family has started going to see her and they are very picky. My mom travels half an hour each way when the traffic is good to see her. I had a failed implant and saw another dentist first who was so very much a waste of time in spite of her good reputation that I nearly filed a complaint with the state against her. Then I saw Dr. Fredericks and the problem was fixed immediately and painlessly. I am very well educated and hard to impress in Public Health matters but this woman is simply the best, you cannot go wrong with her. read more

Dr. Fredericks and her staff are beyond wonderful. I have recently had to have several of my crowns replaced and the experience was excellent. I did not have any discomfort during the procedure and my new crowns look beautiful. I cannot recommend them enough!!! read more
