The entire team, Dr. Lee, Dr. Danny, front office, Richard, Angie, Erinn and the rest of the staff (sorry I'm bad when it comes to remembering names) was incredibly attentive throughout my case and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. They took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly, and it was clear they genuinely care about my well-being. My implants turned out great, and the overall care exceeded my expectations. I felt very comfortable every time I was in the chair getting work done or my check ups. I thought I was going to feel a lot more than what I actually experienced. It was almost pain free for me but obviously everyone tolerates pain differently. The design team did an amazing job on my finals. I couldn't have picked a better office to get my work done. Dr Julia and her staff have provided me for the past 10 months with exceptional service. I came to her office late December of last year. I had previously looked around the Bay Area at other dentist who provide the All on 4 implant procedure, but none of those teams seemed appealing to me. My first office visit felt very safe, assuring and comfortable. I like to ask a lot of questions as the All on 4 procedures aren't minor and is quite the process. So, with a ton of research I was able to ask questions while receiving confident answers which made me feel safe, assured and comfortable. Not to mention I was shown a ton of her work that she had done for others prior to me. Josh, Mya and the rest of the front office people always great me with a smile as I am being checked in. And they always make sure to send me multiple notifications before upcoming appointments . Sorry if I don't know everyone's name. But all of you are great!!! Moving forward. Dr. Julia, Dr. Danny and Richard have spent an incredible amount of time to get my smile perfect! From Shape, size, color, bite etc. They constantly ask me questions about how my teeth feel and look to me, If I say they aren't right, and something needs to be corrected. Dr. Lee's office looks impressive. Everything appears state of the art. However, the impressive office environment is paid for by overcharging and using unnecessary "cutting edge" procedures and products on patients. Over the years, myself (when her office was still on Ygnacio) my husband (before we met), and both my mother and father have gone to her practice. In the six months that I went to Dr. Lee's practice, I had to pour over the bills because I was billed incorrectly several times. Early in our relationship, my now husband went to Dr. Lee. She told him he needed $14,000 is dental work to avoid a severe infection from happening around a bridge. I urged him to seek a second opinion. He did and he hasn't had a single infection or issue with his bridge. Finally, Dr. Lee assisted my elderly father with removing all of his teeth! She worked with an oral surgeon in getting this arranged. She did so, so she could provide the dentures. The surgery landed my 84 year old father in the hospital. And she overcharged for the dentures and then took eight months to get them to him. Not only was her advice the stuff of malpractice, but she then left him without any teeth for two-thirds of a year! I wouldn't wish this care on anyone. read more

After getting 5+ discouraging dental consults I was absolutely thrilled to meet with Dr. Julia Lee and her team! I required extensive dental work and mine was not a simple case. I was impressed right off the bat with the friendliness of the staff and the professional feel of the office. Dr. Lee took both x-rays and CTs of my mouth so she would have a complete understanding of what was going on and could offer the best possible options. She then spent almost an hour of her time thoroughly reviewing all of them with me. This is all before I was her patient or spent a dime! My full dental restoration is now close to complete and I couldn't be happier. I don't know anyone who enjoys going to the dentist, but Dr. Lee and her incredibly competent and wonderful staff went to great lengths to make me comfortable at every single visit and did amazing work. Special shout out to Richard and Rauol who also spent hours of work on my teeth, always with a gentle touch, and constantly pausing to check in with me to ensure I was doing ok. Multiple price bait and switch. You will go in for a cleaning pay a copay and then the dentists will send you a bill a month later saying the insurance didn't pay in full and leave you on the hook for the remainder. Always ask for a letter in writing that you will not owe any additional amount after the copay is made. Scheduled an 11:30 appointment and did not get started until 11:50 (not the most professional business for punctuality) The insurance coordinator doesn't seem to know the pricing of basic procedures as an implant. I called and got a quote of 1,000 and when I go to the office they mention it's 2,200. If only the price charged matches the quality of service. Unfortunately it does not and I would not recommend this place and would steer clear of this place. read more

I needed a dentist for a broken tooth (popcorn kernel!) and came to this dental office cold after reading the reviews. I wasn't prepared for anything I discovered there, even so. The first surprise is the office itself. It looks like a beautiful hotel, marble floored lobby, flower arrangements, lovely furniture. I told friends, all that's missing is a fountain in the middle of the marbled room, by the fireplace, lol. I thought: "who is paying for all this splendor?" but second surprise: I found pricing to be exactly comparable with all other dental offices I checked with (I did a bit of research). Third surprise: Amazing technology: devices I had never even thought of (a digital 'camera' that looks like an octopus, for example that takes photos from every angle all at once, saving lots of time and discomfort). Fourth surprise: Very down-to-earth clients, nobody fancy, just regular people who have found their way to a special practice. Best surprise of all the surprises: the doctors and the staff. First of all, Dr. Julia Lee has her dental philosophy framed on the wall: be as least invasive as possible; create a healthy mouth and allow the patient to thrive. Dr. Julia and Dr. Danny call themselves by their first names, which is so welcoming, but address their patients by the patients' last names, which seems so respectful. Usually it's reversed. I love how I could feel the respect the staff held for Dr. Julia and Dr. Danny. When either doctor walked into the room, the staff's quiet reverence was palpable. I worked quite a bit with Richard who was extremely knowledgeable, responsive - constantly checking in to see how I was doing, my teeth are very sensitive - and adept. I could feel how much he loved dentistry by his skill and the care he exuded. I felt I was in very good hands. And the final surprise: the broken tooth has been repaired and my teeth look stunning, better than I could have ever dreamed or expected. After every appointment my husband has begun inquiring: "How was the dentist" because he has noticed a pattern: I come back as if from a delightful storybook adventure, full of tales and anecdotes about my visit. My past has been filled with a long history of unpleasant dentist experiences. I have never bubbled with excitement over a dentist visit (who has???). This is a lovely, unique, practice, that seems too good to be true but actually is exactly what it presents itself to be: a dental office filled with extremely talented doctors, and staff, who work in a beautiful, caring, environment, loving what they do and creating magic in their clients' mouths. read more

They only care about your money Never had a dentist before that would literally send patients lots of reminders to use their insurance before the year has past. I went in for my teeth cleaning for the first time since COVID and the dentist who did my cleaning said I need to come back in 4 months to get another cleaning because she "did not get everything done" because my appointment was 30 minutes before they had to close and she was rushing to get home They just want me to use my insurance so that when I need it for emergency, I'd have to pay out of pocket. 1 star - Nice bathroom (my favorite ever!) 1 star - great location 1 stat - service is good Please choose another dental office. read more

Highly qualified dental team in Walnut Creek, I had 8 porcelain veneers procedure placed on my front 8 teeth due to me having gaps. Dr. Julia Lee is very competent and thorough dentist, same as Richard ( He reminds me having a plumber hands, ability to create and build, ready to fix what's need to be fixed and very quick too! I just switched dentists over to Julia Lee, I was supposed to have a consultation appointment in a couple weeks but ended up needing emergency work done. I was in pain and called them as soon as they opened, and even though they had a full scheduled day, they still managed to get me in literally ASAP. All the staff there is very professional, friendly, and considerate. I was a little nervous because I haven't had work done in a while and all the staff were very comforting and helpful. Thank You Dr. Julia Lee and Team, The kindness and expertise of Dr. Lee and her staff go above and beyond expectations! Story Time: 5:30pm * I trip and fall breaking two teeth, I call my dentist and he is unavailable, I find Dr. Lee online and she tells me to come in ASAP, so I did. 6:00pm *The staff was so incredibly kind and unbothered that I showed up after closing time, they comforted me and offered me water. After taking my insurance info they immediately brought me into the exam room and started with X-rays and an examination. They were so kind, asking me if I was hungry, wanted water, or needed anything. Once the exam was complete Dr. Lee came in and went through the "game plan" and assured me that I wasn't leaving until my teeth were fixed. She was kind and knowledgeable and her team went above and beyond to make sure I was okay. The staff turned on Netflix for me and Dr. Lee worked her magic. 10:15pm she sent me home with a crown that is a perfect match to my original tooth. Dr. Lee then kindly gave me her personal cell and told me to call if I needed anything over the weekend! Her kindness, professionalism, and skill meant the world to me and I can't thank them enough. The quality of the work is good. The office is new and clean...BUT I don't like that there is an endless rotation of people who come in (and don't introduce themselves or say their position or what they do) also I find Julia really lacking in empathy and her work quite rough and painful compared with other dentists I've used. I will say in all my years this was the most traumatic of all dental experiences. Again, the work is good she's competent and I think quality materials are used. Prices are very high though....they wanted to charge me over $900 for a nightguard which is insane for a cash price (got an excellent one made online and custom for $150) ALSO, the cleanings are good. I am not usually one to leave reviews but we had such a phenomenal experience at Dr. Julia Lee's office that I could not, not share. My friends have spoken highly of Dr. Lee over the years and so when my 16 year old son was experiencing pain in his jaw, I called and set an appointment. The office was easy to find plus had tons of parking available. Upon entering we were greeted by the receptionist who was very nice. Filled out the needed forms as new patients. Then brought to our space for the exam. I didn't remember when the last time my son got X-rays done so they decided to take a new set. But even if my son did have X-rays from his previous dentist they could not hold a candle to theirs so through and detailed. They also took profile pictures which was new to me. The office was busy but not chaotic. I noticed everyone had an ear piece on which I've never seen before at any medical facility so I have to assume they use it to communicate which each other so they all know what's going on. *Genius* Exam time... Dr. Lee all smiles introduced herself. There was a small screen available in front of the patient chair so she can explain the X-rays. By far, the best dentist I have ever been to. and I've seen many. orthodontic care in my adolescence (many years ago), general dentists and periodontists. Dr. Lee and her staff - all of them - but particularly Erin are outstanding I walked in last November a dental mess. Today I've had implant surgery and my mouth is in great shape. Not only have I been receiving excellent surgical and dental care but have been heartened by the warm and caring staff. This place sucks. They overcharge and I've seen multiple people go to the front desk and ask why they are being charged so much. They also will make you wait for way too long - I arrived for my appointment time and had to wait for 15-20 minutes the first time, second time I waited almost an hour. My friend is too scared to write a review so I WILL. This establishment is discriminatory and racist towards people of color. My friend went in for an appointment for a screening and cleaning, the front receptionist was extremely rude and did not greet her in a nice manner. Not only was she waiting an hour to be seen but they had no urgency to get her back when she asked about her wait time. There are no people of color working here which should tell you something already now that it's 2022.
