I messaged on Saturday via Yelp and after a first automated response was still awaiting feedback by midweek, and I already had quotes from two other businesses by that point. When I did finally receive a response, they told me to reach out directly via their website which puts into question the status of the Yelp Guarantee for going through the Projects process. This seemed to indicate to me that the text in their automated response on Yelp Projects has not been properly updated to reflect how they want potential clients to request estimates. I can appreciate they have a lot going on but if this is how they treat you when they are actively courting your business, I find it difficult to believe they would be much better once they have already secured it. FOLLOW-UP PURSUANT TO BUSINESS RESPONSE: I appreciate the nuances of the Yelp Guarantee may be open to interpretation in terms of when it applies. That said, if the business chooses to be included in Yelp Projects, they should be willing to handle requests therein or at least set up a consultation through it, otherwise the Yelp Projects $2500 guarantee may be in jeopardy. The additional response from them indicates that only a quote is required to seal the deal so to speak, but I did not receive that at the time I was asked to reach out via their website, so it is entirely possibly they would have applied this later and be within the terms of the Yelp Guarantee. I have no way to know if that would have been followed since I did not pursue further contact with them after that point, though I will give them the benefit of the doubt that they would have made good on the guarantee through the process or through their business insurance if a work quality issue has transpired. When I initially made the request I had a two week span of availability for the actual cleaning to be done (though I mentioned ideally this would be to action the following week), and only because Juliana's took 3 business days to get back to me to tell me I should reach out directly did it appear to be an "expedited request". I am glad they have so much business that they can afford responses like this and be unavailable for service but if this were the case then that would have been a benefit to know from the outset so that I could have ruled them out as a candidate immediately. Considering most folks don't have more than a few weeks between closing on a house and moving in, and I personally reached out to them a day after my closing, I do not see any path I could have taken to reach out to them sooner. Juliana's notes in their added response that I did not actually enlist their services, which is true, though Yelp policy is that a review may take place so long as there was a consumer interaction/experience, which there was in this case. read more

I saw them recommended on Reddit and got a quote for deep cleaning that I thought was a little pricey, but after reading all the good reviews I decided to go ahead - and thank god I did. The regular service is a lot less costly than the deep cleaning (makes sense, their standard of cleaning is high) and they're so thorough. Not only do they clean every nook & cranny, they add a ton of little touches that really make it a 5-star service. For example, they'll put clean linens on beds if you leave them out, they'll take out the trash and put in nice bin liners, they'll do every dish in the sink, it's incredible. Sadly my experience was not good. Juliana was extremely professional and nice except for the fact we discussed in advance how I need one person on her team to speak English. She agreed to that. No one who arrived spoke English. Of three cleaners, not one spoke enough English to understand, in person, when I said "I unlocked the front door for you". They also closed the door to the basement, where the cat boxes are. They were supposed to leave that open. Instead, one of our cats pooped on the wood floor of my husband's office. (I'll assume that happened after they left since it was there when I came home and I had to clean it.) I am happy to support any business with employees from any country, but not if they mislead me when I say I must have one person on the cleaning team who speaks English, and then they don't provide one. I have never used a cleaning service before because I do a very good job keeping my home surface clean and uncluttered. I hate cleaning my bathrooms though and for the longest time have debated using someone for the most hated job. I sent a request just to get an idea of availability and pricing. They were super prompt with their response and so I thought why not try it and if I like them, no more cleaning bathrooms for me. They worked with my schedule and even when I had to switch the time at the last minute due to a school conflict, they were understanding and gave me the next time slot on a Saturday that worked for me. They arrived on time and were super pleasant, polite, and didn't mind I had my kids running everywhere. Saturdays are crazy so I was nervous they'd feel irritated we hadn't cleared out so they could work but not at all. Juliana was so sweet with the kids and they were probably annoying as they watched her and she didn't mind at all. She worked quickly but did an amazing job. She was cleaning things I never think of cleaning and had cleaning tools and supplies I certainly don't have. With my kids wandering around I was worried about the smell and chemicals because when I clean my eyes will start to burn but she told me she wasn't using harsh chemicals and it was safe to have the kids nearby. When she left, walking into my bathroom felt so nice. Again, I keep it pretty clean but it felt like I was walking into a hotel bathroom that wasn't my own because of how pristine it looked. My 3 year old told me she couldn't use the bathroom because it looked too pretty. Needless to say, I will be using them to clean my bathrooms from now on. Not only because of how well they cleaned but because of how accommodating they were, how things being crazy here didn't bother them, and how wonderful they were with my kids being stuck inside on a rainy day. I've hired a few cleaning services in the past. I was new to hiring professional cleaners, and jumped on 'deals' that only cost me around $100. Sadly, none of them lived up to my expectations. A couple did a pretty good job, but it was something I could have done easily. After hiring Juliana's Home Cleaning, I realized why so many people are willing to pay more. First, a lot of companies won't quote until on-site. That's understandable, but still frustrating if you schedule them to come quote and they are way out of your expected price range. Juliana was able to provide an average based on square footage of my home for maintenance cleanings, and an actual rate for the initial deep cleaning without needing to schedule an in home appointment just to quote. It was a little more than some companies quoted me, but she and the other cleaner ended up being very knowledgeable, thorough, and cleaned in places I never would have thought of. I was quoted $320 for the first 6 hours of deep cleaning, which is really 3 hours, but two professional cleaners were working so it does equate to 6 hours total. After that, it was $80 per hour. Juliana kept me updated on the progress, allowing me to decide if I wanted to end the cleaning or have them continue until they were finished. It took them 4 hours total. I really hadn't cleaned very well in a long time. Some things they did that I liked and had never seen any others do, was being able to vacuum under my stove and refrigerator using special vacuum tools, vacuum the pet hair from my couch also using really cool tools, made my stove top look new, as well as use a two sided mop bucket so they were never using dirty mop water when cleaning the floors. I've always used cleaning chemicals/sprays from local stores, like Tilex, bleach, Clorox products, Lysol, etc. I was doubtful that eco friendly products could do as good of a job, but wow! I was wrong! My home smelled fresh and not like the harmful chemicals that always give me a headache and make my lungs feel like they're burning. I ended up starting a 1 year contract for weekly cleanings, since I have pets and kids. They provide discounts the more frequently you have them clean, so $180 seemed absolutely worth it to me for my home to always look like it's the model home in a new development. I pay that much for one day of nanny care anyway. Other than that, they were friendly, on time, flexible, and while I didn't care, they still wore KN95 masks. I know some elderly or at-risk people would appreciate this. Oh, and they wore shoe coverings before entering my home, which I've never seen any other cleaners do before. Very professional. The only thing I regret, is I didn't take pictures of my home before they cleaned. The before and after comparison would have been a well deserved touch to this review. 10/10 will recommend them and continue using them! Next week they will be cleaning the inside of my oven as an added request. I'll be sure to take pictures of that for before and after! read more
