Both head practices are…read moreterrible, doctors will argue you, schedule you late and be upset you came in, they will hold your heart medicine hostage by not telling you to make an appointment to force you to come in, they are just terrible, had a doctor schedule me for 4:30, be mad that I came in and also get upset when I asked questions, told them I had trouble sleeping, only able to get about 3 hours per night and then go work a 12 hour shift, was told I need to stop screen time, when I said my whole job is screen time from the start of my day to the end of my shift, I was then told I need to read a book, just terrible, lazy practitioners.

When calling Winfield Family Medicine, you are asked to call another number, which I did. A person answered and asked me what facility this was for and then transferred me to a voice mail. I paid my statement in full 6 months ago and I keep getting statements that it is overdue. I sent a copy of a cancelled check to the statement address and I'm still getting overdue statements. He's a (somewhat) knowledgable doctor but has a massively inflated ego. The first time I went he said that he doesn't want to treat ANYONE that goes to another doctor (including if you're travelling and need a doctor for a few months in another state/country). On the 2nd visit I had with him he said there was a "breakdown in communication" between us because I didn't want him as my primary care doctor and had medical attention from another doctor since the last visit (I dont know why his staff allowed a 2nd apt to happen if he was so against it). At that point the appointment was a waste, so I left. Got a letter in the mail less than a week later saying that he'd never treat me again because there was a "breakdown in communication". Really unneeded, condescending, and holier than thou attitude. If you don't want a patient to come into your office, don't let your staff book them, that simple. If you're looking for a knowledgable doctor that is the only doctor you go to, this is your guy. If you're like the rest of the world and theres a chance you'll visit another doctor, don't waste your time here because he will refuse to treat you and you'll get a rude letter in the mail that you hurt his feelings for visiting other doctors too.
