Walked in on a rainy Saturday. There was one person getting a manicure. Asked if they could handle 4 pedicures and they didn't hesitate to say "yes!" Waved to the truck to summon my family. We filed in as they immediately started filling our water bowls with hot water!! We all got the deluxe treatment! It was really nice! There were 4 of us but only 3 of them and they didn't rush any of our care! The guy I had even introduced himself and cracked jokes along the way! I really needed the attention! Thank you Don!!! I went to this place yesterday 6/17/23 for a fill in & this had to be the worst service I have ever received. I do not recommend this place & one of my nails is broke all ready. Some guy did my nails & I wasn't satisfied, so the woman I guess her name is Julie. She the owner. She decided to fix my nails but it wasn't any better. Went to this nail salon as a recommendation from a friend. The experience was horrible. The salon needs a deep cleanse. They are not properly sanitizing the chairs and bowls where pedicures are done. The tools that are used do not get cleaned and or sanitized, putting everyone at risk for a infection or even something much worse. The polishes are all watered down and old. If you are looking to try a new trend you will not receive it here. They are old and out dated. I barely got away with gel. The staff is fake friendly. read more

I just had the worst experience I've ever had getting my nails done! I've gone here the last 3 times to get ombré by Julie and was so very pleased! This time I walked in and got a male who was so rude from the beginning! He jerked my hands, fingers, and arms and was not friendly when I spoke to him! I told him a certain color and when he put it on my nails it wasn't the color I was expecting so I told him politely that I needed a different color! He got mad and yelled at me! Im sorry for being prejudice against this business but I don't like the fact that they charge $50 for a mani/pedi!Im sure they do excellent work, but maybe they forgot where their location is.Certainly not in a luxurious spa with relaxing music and added features thrown in just because.They're in a strip mall in a small space in the middle of town.Hardly anything I'd pay $50 for. The place was very nice, well organized, the chairs were in great working condition, they are reasonably priced. I came for a pedicure and asked for Gel polish. They had me pick my color and I asked for a deluxe pedicure the price was less than what I paid for the same package at Serendipity Nail spa. I also came and noticed that they advertised Brow Threading which I asked for and it was quick and painless! I was offered a drink and she brought me a bottle of water on my request! This joint is an oasis in the urban desert, a happy getaway from my day-to-day grind. I came here for a treat myself day. Kenny was my manicurist and he did a wonderful job. He listened to what I wanted and was gentle with cutting my cuticles. I got a beautiful gel manicure that receive many compliments. He did not try to upsell while doing my nails. COMPLETELY OVERCHARGED! I received a gel pedicure, list price at $60 and a dip gel manicure, list price at $50 and paid $140. Although, I did have gel already on my toes which they said cost $5-$10 for removal my total cost should have been $120 at the most right? So where did the extra $20 come from? Initially came in to get my eyebrows threaded, but decided to get a pedicure as well. They rushed through my pedicure and left my feet/heels still rough and cracked. I pointed it out to the young lady and she told me to use lotion. She was so busy trying to finish up with my pedicure so that she can do her own! Please do not visit this nail spa. They are ridiculously overpriced. $90 for a mani/pedi. Waxing services are an arm and a leg too. She waxed my eyebrows only to leave one completely misshaped. I now have to fill it in with a pencil. My upper and lower lip was waxed for $25, of course, and I do not understand why. I just asked for my upper lip. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Went for a mani-pedi combo, which is priced on menu for $50 (still overpriced). They asked if I wanted a deluxe, my response was ONLY if it includes a calf and foot massage. I asked price for that, they stated $65, I said ok (still overpriced, but wanted a splurge for myself and my niece). The young lady who did my mani-pedi barely spoke English and kept badgering me to get gel. After my THIRD "No thank you", when she ask me yet again, I had to firmly state "No, I do not want Gel!" The manicure was so fast, she ended up cutting me twice. The pedicure did not include ANY massage, whatsoever, aside from the lotion being rubbed in. Upon check out they charged $75. I asked them to show me on the menu what they were charging me for and the young lady tried to say I got the "NU" pedicure, which included hot stones. I told her "No, I did not get hot stones, I didn't even get a massage...it should have been $50." Then the gentleman at the front tried to tell me I got a separate deluxe pedi and mani. I explained again that I asked for the combo with massage, but did not get it. Then they both wanted to say I got the "NU" pedi for $75. Flustered, I informed them they were over-charging me (as well as my niece, but that's a WHOLE other story) and that their prices on the menu DO NOT match what they charge. I should have taken the time to read the yelp reviews before we entered. There was not an autoclave in view to see they sterilized the equipment...THEY DON'T...because I saw the young lady use the same clippers and utensils she used on me, on the lady next to me; my niece witnessed them use her used acetone on the lady next to her and then pour the remaining used acetone back in the bottle. Gross and unsanitary. I WILL be checking my bank statement to see what was ultimately taken from my account. I WILL lodge a complaint with the health department and better business bureau. I will NOT be back, EVER and I will not ever recommend anyone to go there. Read all of the other bad reviews...find a better place, don't wast your money here. ZERO STARS !! I have been going to this salon for over 10 years and have never had a bad experience. Sue and her sister have always treated me and any other customer like family. Their prices are great compared to other salons in the Shrevepor t/ Bossier areas, and they run specials all the time. I have tried other Salons on occasion when in a hurry, but none compare - i will gladly drive the extra miles to get my maincure and pedicure from LA Nails -- they are without a doubt, the BEST in town. read more
