They have kitchen vines from all over the state of Kentucky and they had a few of my favorites with Weisenberger Then also had cookies and cakes that were incredible. I ended up picking up the cookies and cream cookies which were amazing. The staff was super friendly and amazing and I wish I could've spent more time and bought more items, but we'll have to do that on the next visit. This was an inspiring store to find amazing cooking items. Will be back in Lawrenceburg for this.

Central Bank Center is a great place for a convention! The location is right in the middle of…read moredowntown Lexington - with lots of parking available for guests. My husband and I drove down from Cincinnati on a Saturday for Lexington Comic Con - and we had no trouble finding nearby (FREE) street parking! We got into the check-in line around noon - which stretched up and down the main, concrete stairs. Despite the long queue, we never stopped moving, which made it seem like we weren't waiting as long as we did (just under 40 minutes). The interior is laid out well - with signage throughout. The convention itself was distributed among the three floors, with photo opps and autographs on the first floor, panels on the second floor, and shopping on the third floor. The food court is a bit of a walk from the main floors, but it's easy to find, and had plenty of options and seating available. Despite all of the space to spread out - much of this convention felt crowded. That wasn't an issue for us, since we were expecting as much, but just something to keep in mind if you're still easing back in to events with large amounts of people. I also want to note this venue's commitment to sustainability. Waste receptacles throughout Central Bank Center are made of recycled milk cartons (which is denoted by little stickers). I would definitely return to Central Bank Center and/or Rupp Arena the next time they're hosting LexCon (or another cool convention!)

The layout is a bit different, with multiple floors and a large room for each floor. A lot of the building still seemed to be under construction, but everywhere was pretty accessible and was in nice condition. The outside of the center is beautiful... large fountains and a park space nearby...we loved it! There is also a big, outdoor parking lot by the door that makes for easy parking. It's a great place for any big events happening in Lexington!

I literally almost devoured it in the car before I left for work during my lunch break. The pimento cheese is the absolute best pimento cheese I've ever had in all of Kentucky. Everything was so delicious and piping hot and the customer service was excellent. I recommend this place to everyone and anyone who comes to Lexington as it is a hidden gem that everyone should know about and support.

My husband and I came in to check it out around 4:30pm. 1.5hrs flew by as we shopped, sipped lattes, and played games. The place really got busy around 5:30pm with a bunch of gamers playing table top RPGs and Pokémon. There was a huge selection of board games that were donated from other players and were available to play on site. Definitely will come back next time we come to Lexington.

Came upon this little farm because my friend rented the upstairs patio of the shop for a birthday…read moreparty. They had tons of games/activities for kids like balloon making and soccer and toss the ring on the bull. It was so well thought out. We took the wagon ride to the flower and pumpkin fields and they also had a corn maze! So much fun, you could pick a bouquet if you wanted. I was able to bring my yorkie with me and he had a blast. They had plenty of photo ops. I think everything was reasonably priced, the owners were very nice. There was so much to do we didn't get enough time to feed the animals! Definitely go with time. I got there two hours till close because I didn't anticipate the drive from Lexington.

I absolutely love Draper James! I have followed the line/stores on social media forever (along with…read moreReese Witherspoon), so when they put this location in Lexington I was so excited! I have visited numerous times since they've been opened, and every visit has been great! The staff are all super nice. Draper James is definitely a more upscale store, but you wouldn't feel out of place at all based on the way the employees treat everyone. They're all so nice, and they definitely throw on that Southern charm that Draper James embodies. You'll be offered a sweet tea as you enter the store, and the staff are always there to help if you need anything else. The merchandise is super cute! Many of the items are expensive, but the sales are good and you can find smaller gift items for affordable prices. One thing I have in common with Reese Witherspoon is that we both have Frenchies, so I love the fact that Draper James carries merchandise with French Bulldogs on it! It's one of my favorite things about the shop! That, and all of the Dolly Parton stuff. Another thing I have in common with Reese Witherspoon, that Dolly love. If you're window shopping, shopping for yourself, or shopping for gifts, Draper James is a great store to check out! If you haven't been in give it a shot, at least walk in and look around, trust me it's super cute and the staff are all extremely friendly.
