My Primary Care Physician had opined that the rotator cuff might be the problem, and that cortisone might help. Within hours of the procedure, the pain was gone! Yesterday, on March 29, 2026, while visiting my wife in her hospital room, I leapt from my chair to prevent (successfully) a table from falling over and caused excruciating pain in that shoulder. My phone call to N.E. Orthopedics today confirmed my suspicion that it was too soon for a follow-up shot, but I was dismayed to hear that their company might not want me to return. Frankly, I was so shocked to learn that information that I merely hung up without seeking an explanation.

Emma stated it could not reschedule my appointment. I asked to speak to a human. Was told there is a ten minute wait. Fine. Emma immediately proceeded to repeat the office is closed (it was 10 AM on a Tuesday). "You can hang up now." I went to the office today to try to reschedule and was informed I have to CALL to do that. I proceeded to describe my experience from the previous day and suggested maybe they should contact IT or the AI provider because the system obviously is not working properly. My suggestion was met with indifference. And she repeated the only way to reschedule was to call. I was simply trying to reschedule but also help. I hope AI Emma doesn't eventually replace the indifferent human with whom I spoke. The confidence in AI Emma's voice when she said, "you can hang up now" was unprecedented. I am leery of what to expect if I follow through with my referral.

Both my hands would fall asleep EVERY SINGLE TIME I drove past 10 minutes as well as in my sleep. I…read morewould have to constantly rub them or shake them out. Finally I decided to get them checked out. I went through a few tests at the office. Dr. Wintman told me the tests showed my case was mild. "Mild" I thought? No way! He then assured me that just because the tests show mild does not mean I do not have a worse case. There was no way I could wait any longer dealing with my hands. I planned on only one hand to see if the surgery worked. I was very nervous. The surgery and recovery time are quick and PAINLESS. Out of surgery Dr Wintman told me the carpel tunnel area was extremely tight. Thank goodness I wasn't crazy! I had pain of about a three on a pain scale. No need for medication stronger than ibuprofen. It took about two weeks for a full recovery. I immediately scheduled the other hand. Dr Wintman explained every surgery is different and not to expect the same results. After the second hand, I had zero pain. Dr Wintman said this hand was much tighter inside. This hand actually hurt me less. I was back to work after four days. This hand took longer to recover. The feeling I had was like a slight lagging feeling in my hand. I knew it just needed time and to be rubber out. I am two months out from both surgeries and would do it again!! ( even though I won't have to). I 1000% recommend Dr WIintman and his staff!
