You have to scan your room key at the elevator, and it will tell you which Elevator Letter to take , to get to your room Plenty of Bar and seating in the lobby. Tributary is the bar/diner. Room - you can control your own temp up to 75 degrees. NO microwave. There is a microfridge and coffee set up. Only 2 small dresser drawers, and a litte closet by the bathroom with iron/board My room was serviced nearly everyday before 11am. I wrote a note to have my bed linens changed for the 3rd night. I ran into the housekeeper and she said she didn't "remake" the 2nd bed because "no one slept in it". Well, no one did BUT I used that bed to lay on with my outside clothes. So, it was dirty and I asked for a change and didn't recieve. Just last night, I felt something keep scratching my ankle. I reached down and it was a DAMN toe Nail clipping! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did the sheets actually get changed from the last person or not!?!? Upset me Hotel views overlooked the city, mostly. Large TVs Pool is onsite, indoors and outdoors. Gym and Laundry facilities on the 4th floor My toilet didn't flush well. Shower was fine. I had issues with my TV having a blank black screen and no audio when I first got there. A maintenance tech was there within minutes to fix. Same with my deadbolt issue. (You can't actually see the deadbolt come out, but it does when you close the door and lock it) The rooms are a little old school, but comfortable. Despite the issues, I would recommend this hotel.

Right on the Riverwalk but away from the crazy noise the Riverwalk can bring! The heart of the Riverwalk is less than a block away if you stay anytime during the holiday season, you will be surprised how beautiful how many Christmas lights hanging create a trip to remember! Clean comfortable rooms, beds are so comfortable, I felt as though I slid in a bed of butter. Pillows were so freaking amazing- I took photos of the labels so I can get the same when I get home! Quiet hallways, no noise and away from the craziness that the Riverwalk can bring. The only issue I had was every time I stay at this hotel, I have to call the front desk to reserve a room that specifically faces the Riverwalk, otherwise you won't know what room you will get.

It was still AMAZING and left me wishing that I could stay longer! My King Room was huge and ultra clean and comfortable! Taking a break from work, I headed to the pool deck, which was small but sufficient and had comfortable chairs to sun in. I remembered an amazing redfish dish from Ostra, enjoyed so many years ago... I really wanted to eat at Ostra again this visit, because I saw redfish on the menu and wondered if it was really as good as my memory of it. I was initially bummed that Ostra was closed for a private event during my stay, BUT my disappointment quickly turned to excitement when I saw the same dish offered on the room service menu. YES!! It was as good if not better than my memory of it! Finally and importantly, the individuals working in valet, front desk, and room service were so service driven and friendly! Overall, I cannot wait to stay at the Mokara again in the hopefully, not so distant future!

Another top-notch professional everyone with the name A is winning here. Last but not least Asia, she gave me the best massage ever. I've been getting massages for 22 years and that has been one of the best Massage I've ever had. So if you ever come to this hotel and you need a massage do yourself a favor and ask for Asia. She is simply the best. Comfort, the level comfort here is the best. The AC blows ice cold, the beds are super comfy. Everything they do here is to make your stay perfectly the best. They have fresh fruit and cookies and water scattered throughout the building. What a nice touch. The king premium room is super spacious and very nice. The spa, area is amazing. I really enjoyed the Jacuzzi, sauna and the relaxation room. Followed by the Massage. Everything is perfect here. I haven't had one issue at this hotel. Everyone that works here is simply top-notch and I understand the level of class at this hotel is all about. It's definitely not cheap but let me tell you what you get what you pay for because this is top-notch service. This will be one of my go to hotels when I come to San Antonio from now on
