AWFUL EXPERIENCE! I booked a dunk tank for delivery on Thursday for an even to raise money for charity at work. They showed up late so we had to cancel and reschedule for Friday at the same time. The scheduler actually tried to charge us for the extra time! And they almost spoiled the event a second time by showing up at 9 AM to take away the dunk tank. When I called, a supervisor lied to me and said he had been on the phone when we discussed rescheduling the event for the same time on Friday. He tried to tell me that we had agreed they'd pick it up at 9 AM--guess he didn't know that I had actually been the one who made the phone call. AVOID!!!!!! read more

Booked a dunk tank for a schoolwide event- for the middle school I work for. Jumptastic scheduled the tank for a half hour before the start of event. Only afterward did I find out that it would take 1.5 hours to fill the tank so it was a problem from scheduling. When I called the day of the event it was an ETA 2 hours before the event, so no issue. Though they did not call me to let me know, the tank actually arrived long after the event started. With the time to fill the tank, we would only have had 15 minutes for students to use the tank. After an initial mistake on their part (where they told me they would change 33%), they agreed not to charge for the dunk tank. The driver could not stay while I called to ensure no charge, though, or else it would have made him late for his next appointment. Spoke to a manager Friday who said he would call back end of day. No callback from Jumptastic. I called and left a voicemail Monday. No callback. I called and left a voicemail Tuesday. No callback. I called and finally reached someone Wednesday. I am disappointed by poor scheduling (that never would have worked), disappointed that they showed up so late (without a call), disappointed that I had to speak to a manager to ensure I wasn't charged, and would not ever recommend that a school, company, or individual trust this company to help make your event special. We had 700 students who were disappointed that we failed to deliver something special, and this is 100% the fault of Jumptastic. read more

Short version: it took four calls and two trips for all the proper items to get delivered, and then the Jumptastic guy who removed the items actually broke 3 hanging Christmas light wires that were 10 feet off the ground, resulting in broken light bulb glass all over the back patio area. Long version: Jumptastic was supposed to provide a small bounce house, four tables, and twenty chairs for an event at my house. A guy showed up with the right bounce house but wrong chairs and two few tables. He was was rude, unhelpful, curt, and not knowledgable. He refused to set up the tables. When I told him the order-taker had promised that everything would be set up, he said, "Well that's not the deal and they'll say anything to make a sale." I asked him to call his manager so that I could actually get all 4 tables I had ordered. A few minutes later he called me from outside in his truck to say that no tables were available that day and that I could "file a complaint with the office on Monday." When I told him this was unacceptable, he hung up on me and actually screeched his tires driving away from my house. Then, on my own, I called the home office to request that the proper chairs and remaining 2 tables were delivered. The guy on the phone acted like he was doing me a great favor by delivering the items that were supposed to have been delivered in the first place. The second guy who delivered the proper chairs and remaining tables was cheerful and efficient - polar opposite from #1. The first guy ended up coming back later in the evening to retrieve the tables, chairs, and bounce house. While he was removing the deflated bounce house, he broke 3 hanging Christmas light wires that were secured 10 feet off the ground between the house and a tree. There were shards of broken light bulbs all over the place. I saw that he had broken the wires but decided not to say anything to him because I didn't need to have another confrontation with this guy while guests were in my house. To be fair, the items that we ordered were all eventually delivered to my house on time. The kids loved the bounce house and all the tables and chairs were decent quality. But I had argue with delivery guy #1 about setup, call the office twice to make sure the right tables and chairs were delivered, and then finally that same #1 guy actually left my house in WORSE condition than it was before the whole Jumptastic ordeal. I know how atlanta traffic is, so I requested my waterslide 2 hrs prior to my party time and it was even earlier than that. It's hard for me to rate this place. I had used them for three events and everything was fine. This year was different. I had order a slide for Saturday 4th of July 8am-10pm. They then called me and asked if they could deliver it Friday night and pick it up Sunday morning because of how busy they were. Their quote "it would really help us out and we won't charge you for the extra time" this seems like a good deal but where it was being set up was going to block my garage with my car inside and I wasn't sure I wanted to block it in that long (I had things to do on sunday) . They assured me they would pick it up early on Sunday morning. I agreed. It is now 2:31pm on Sunday. I have called the company twice, the first time the girl said she would call my driver and see why it was taking so long for him to get there and would "call me back in three minutes" 45 minutes later no call. I called them back and got a different girl who said she had just gotten to work so she was not familiar with what the other girl had talked to the driver about BEFORE LEAVING. Yea..so my car is currently blocked in my garage because I trusted this company to pick the bounce house up in time and the girl trying to figure out the issue just clocks out and leaves. So girl number two says "it will be picked up by the end of the day" and I replied, the only reason I agreed to letting it stay in my driveway over night was because I was assured it would be picked up early it is now almost 3:00pm and I have to be on my way to pick up my kids in 15 minutes. She apologizes and say (surprise) she will call the driver and call me back. I let her know this is exactly the conversation I had with girl number 1 and never got a call back. Long story short....she never called me back either, she just told the driver to call me who was 20 minutes away. No apologies, no explanation as to why things were running so late, nothing. I really wish I could give this company zero stars. My experience started off good with the initial booking. I ordered a water slide for my sons school on a Friday. When I originally booked it I asked what I needed and they told me a water spicket within 50ft and a power source within 50 ft and that they would supply the hoses, extension cords etc. The morning of deliver I showed the gentlemen where it was going and where everything was and told him to call me if he needed me as I was going back inside the school to watch my sons graduation. After the graduation I peeped out the window and saw it was successfully inflated and set up(so I thought). A couple of hours later we came out with all the children to start our water day and I turned on the water to realize there was a huge hole in the hose to the point where the water was only trickling out on the slide. I immediately called Jumptastic and was told someone would call me right back...an hour passed and no call so I called again and was told the same thing. The delivery guy called me back after another 20 minutes or so and I told him the issue and he said he didn't have a hose long enough(as promised when booking) so he used the schools hose and that our hose was the one with the hole in it. I told him that was unacceptable as I was told when booking that they would provide everything. He said he could come bring me another hose but that by the time he got to me my event would be over. I ended up having to go buy a longer hose and by the time I did that and got back the children had about 30 minutes of play time on a $260 slide. A bunch of disappointed 5 and 6 year olds. Then to add injury to insult I called back in at the end of the day to speak to a manager and was told they were super busy and that a manager was not In but one would call me back. No one called. I then called Saturday several times and was told the same thing.....no one called. I then called again on Monday and after my 3rd call I finally got Jeanette the delivery manager on the line. I told her my issue and she says oh yeah I heard about this but thought it was taken care of. She then told me she was going to speak with the operations manager and PROMISED to call me back by the end of the day......NO CALL!!!!! FINALLY today(Tue) I got Mark on the line. I told him my story for the billionth time and told him how unacceptable and unprofessional it was for me to have to chase them to get a response to a problem I had and he apologized and told me the same thing. We were busy. He then proceeds to tell me that he spoke with the delivery guy and he was sure that the proper length of hose was delivered and that there was nothing he could do besides offer me a little off my purchase and something off a future purchase....I told him that wouldn't work because there would be no future purchases from them. I let him know that I would call my bank and dispute the transaction and let them decide and that I would go online on EVERY social media platform they have and let the world know what happened. He then says well since you are threatening me I'm hanging up and did just that. Smh. No threat....I have the right to give bad reviews and I have the right to dispute a transaction. If this company would have been one with morals then they would have fixed the issue and had a customer for life. Lastly....when I booked this I paid a $50 refundable deposit. When I called my bank today to dispute the transaction we realized that the 50$ has hard posted to my account so they never even refunded that. Worst experience ever. Planning a child's birthday is always a little stressful. Took our then-2-year-old to a fall festival at our 10-year-old's elementary school, and came up with the idea of renting a bouncy house for the younger one's birthday. Looked up a couple of places, and most of them required self pick-up (which wasn't possible). Decided to go with Jumptastic because they offered delivery. This year I'm not sure if there's new management or ownership or what but it was the worst experience for my children's birthday ever. we rented a 22 foot inflatable waterslide. It was the same waterslide we printed the past two years from the same company. I told the gentleman where it was going to go and I told him it was the same place they placed it before. When the delivery driver arrived. He quickly scan the area and said he couldn't do it. He then proceeded to leave. My daughter's party was started in less than an hour. I had to call him over seven times and then call the company at least as many times to try to get a hold of him to have them come back. This took close to an hour. they wanted to put it in the driveway which I did not want since the party was in the backyard. I asked if they could put it on a flat service in our backyard. The man clearly did not want to move it at all and the easiest spot for him was right in the middle of the driveway. After giving me another dozen excuses he reluctantly agreed. I had to help him roll it to the yard- he could not even get the dolly to work with it. At this point our party already started. Kids were loaded in and the waterslide was still not up! The waterslide was the birthday party! He finally started to inflate it and then he realized there was a hole or something or a flap not closed and the entire thing wouldn't inflate. He had to search for the "hole". By the time the waterslide worked it was an hour into the birthday party. Fast forward to the take down. One man came solo at 6pm to take it down. It is now 9:30pm and they just left. He also could not lift it into the dolly and had to call 3 friends. It was pitch black when they left and the other two men were in our yard with black hoodies and hoods up. I didn't feel safe at ALL to have my daughters here with these men that scared me with hoodies on in the pitch black. I didn't want to walk outside to tell them to come back when it was daylight so I called the company several more times and no one would pick up. It was all together a total disaster and I would never use them or recommend them to anyone! read more

However, I spent 300.00 with these crooked ass clowns. I didn't need all the chairs and tables I had previously order ed. Paid their trifling Butts. I was told by the driver that he would note my account and someone would call me on monday. I called twice to get told someone would call me back. But I called back, and when I did I got this Ole red neck rude impolite delivery manager on the phone. Politely going to say they can't refund me my 42.00 ok you should've said that because guess what, I would've took the chairs and let the mono lay out in the damn rain. I've used them 3 times. Glad my son said that he don't want any more jump slides. Do I sound pissed, yelp I am. It's about principle. And obviously the manager doesn't have any. FYI, please be mindful when booking them. Their cancelation policy is crooked. I assumed it was a week because their website does not allow me to access it from my phone, where I booked, but it's actually 10 days. If you need to cancel within those 10 days don't expect any leniency, even if a pipe burst in the home you planned to host the party. They have 4 pages you must go through online, but couldn't put the 10 days on any of them. Of course, it's on the automated receipt that went to spam. My suggestion is you no call no show, if they're going to keep your money anyway, you may as well let them truly lose out on renting that unit. read more

I'm wondering if this business has really gone downhill in the last few years...based on some very negative reviews. ?? I didn't have a bad experience with them at all -- but, I used them 4-5 times for kids' birthday parties, the last one being in 2012 or 2013. I was given repeat customer discounts, always appreciated. Their delivery people were always prompt, arriving even earlier than scheduled which was such a bonus cause my kids were able to stay busy while I finished getting ready. :) They also always came later than schedule for pick up which again, gave our kids & their friends even more time on the inflatables. We've done dry & water slides with this company and everyone absolutely loved each theme I went with. The adults even got involved with a huge slip n slide, that was a big hit. The kids seemed to love the obstacle course inflatables the most, as they are more challenging and you can race (I have all boys so competing is an everyday thing with them!). I'm thinking either they have a lot of turnover with contractors they use to deliver the equipment (therefore, it's a toss up on whether you get a great person or someone who is angry they're working on the weekend)....or the management has changed and that's why people are experiencing rude encounters or ambivalence. If that's the case, they should certainly re-evaluate their customer service methods because this area & surrounding towns definitely spend good $$$ and you don't want to ruin a reputation in an industry that has SO many choices all over Atlanta. Last - I will say I was quite impressed when driving home after a Friday night out in Atlanta for Oct 30th festivities, I drove by this location off Buford Hwy around 12:30am and there was a group of guys there outside rolling inflatables & putting them on trucks. I never feel a customer is entitled but when you disrespect a customer who has already paid then you give that customer a sense of entitlement to chew you out. I was called a liar, an anomaly, and that it was no point in him talking to me. I am a manager and have had customer come back days later after paying for service and I compensated them because I wanted them to refer my business. I booked a combo , slide and cotton candy machine. They charged a deposit , deducted it from my card, then called me the next day to tell me that they could not deliver to my home for my sons party. I offered to pick up , then he had to admit that they double booked the cotton candy machine and figured they would just cancel me. Now I am stuck searching for another company to deliver for what seems to be the businest weekend of the year and I will not receive a refund back to may card until Mikes "boss" returns. I guess that this "boss" is the only one that knows how to refund money. This is just bad business. You should find another company with fair practices. read more

I agree 100% with the other reviewers that stated the manager is jerk and runs the business poorly. I hired them to set up a birthday sign across my parents yard for my Dad's 70th birthday. When I spoke to the lady taking my order I stressed how I wanted it to be a surprise and asked multiple times and ways if they were quiet so as not to wake my parents. The lady used the words "stealth like" to describe their abilities. So, the morning that the sign was supposed to be placed the following occurs - this is a summary as the entire story would take long to write. The person that delivered the items arrived on time about 7 AM. This is the ONLY thing they got right. He rang the door bell and scared my parents to death. My Mom in her panic set off the house alarm and woke up the entire neighborhood. The police were dispatched but luckily my Mom was able to stop them from showing up. The guy then proceeded to put all the letters across the yard facing the wrong direction (towards the house vs. the street) - so that all that drove by could not read it which was the entire point. I checked on their site and every photo shows the letters facing so that passers by can read them. They didn't bring the "th" for after the 70 and they spaced birth and day as two words. Then, all the little smiley faces that should have been placed around the yard in a fun way were in a straight line with the letters. It looked horrible. When I spoke to the manager he could care less. He stated it was my fault because I didn't tell them which way to face the letters. Seriously, I thought it was common sense. But if not it is his companies responsibility to prompt me to provide that info to them. He refused to have the delivery guy come back out with the missing letters and to arrange everything correctly. Further, he said I should have known that they would have to communicate with my parents. How would I have known that? They never told me that. When I was discussing with the lady about it being a surprise and getting her assurances that they would be super quiet that would have been the time for her to say something - but nope. I had paid for it and was assured they would be "stealth like" so as not to ruin the surprise so no clue why they needed to communicate with my parents. Ringing the door bell at 7 AM is the exact opposite of "stealth like". I asked the manager to come pick up everything and give me a refund - even a partial refund and he refused. I had a great experience with this company in prior years but this past weekend I had the worst experience in my history of renting equipment. The customer service I received when I made the reservation was great but on the day of delivery the company was almost two hours last in arriving. I didn't even receive a courtesy call to inform me that they would be late. I had to call the company and check on the estimated time of arrival. My event started at 12 noon and ended at 4 pm. The delivery guy arrived at 1:40 pm and it took another hour to set up all the inflatables. I had to use my own extension cords because the cords the company brought were sketchy. To top it all off, I was informed by the weekend delivery manager that the inflatable would still be picked up at 4 pm even though they arrived two hours late. There are no accommodations or apologies made regarding the issue with the delivery driver, this was a huge put off for me. I will not be using this company ever again. read more
