While the average tourist brings home a suitcase of dreamcatchers (most likely made in China) and moccasins (made in Minnesota), the best goods are produced by local artists. While I won't say By The Sea is a purveyor of strictly local finds, if you spend some time digging, you'll dig what you find around here. Shirts and hats are simply cooler than anything I'd seen anywhere else. I can't define cool, it just is, you'll know it when you see it. High quality products produced in America. Instead she made it a point to talk to another customer ! At that point I was done. I work in the travel industry and good customer service is number one for me! The sales person at Ayatar was friendly and accommodating so I bought $500 worth of stuff from her because I always reward good customer service.
