This was the second time in the last month we have done this same exact tour. My nephew plays baseball for the Quintana Roo Tigres so we come down here now quite often. The weather for this excursion prevented us from going snorkeling, so they just let us cruise in the fast boats for 2 hours thru the marinas, bays, shorelines and mangroves of Cancun. So much fun. Alex our guide did a great job, even though one of our boats in the party suffered a propeller malfunction, they replaced the boat quickly and made up our downtime. I know some things are beyond our control, especially when it comes to weather. We had booked the speedboat/snorkel tour. We spent the morning getting ready for our noon tour, then took the bus to the location. Through a bit of overzealousness on our part, we arrived 45 minutes early, only to find out the tour was cancelled to do...maybe the wind? The boats and snorkeling weren't possible to go out. A few of us cancelled, but some decided they wanted to still do the trip the following day (our last day), but we asked them to please notify us in case it was cancelled beforehand so they didn't have to take another bus ride for no reason. I emailed the morning of, because of the strong winds all throughout the night. I did receive an email back, saying they hadn't heard if the tour was going to take place but I'd be notified in case of something had changed. Welp, those that were going had no choice to leave and hop on the bus for their tour...only to find out, the snorkeling part was cancelled, but they could do the boat ride if they wanted. Since snorkeling was their main reason for going, they decided to cancel. It would have been great to know this before hand. The refunds were processed pretty promptly and we were grateful for that, but it's a shame there wasn't much communication that wasted time (and money) that could have used for something else both times. read more

So happy we booked a 2 hour tour with Jungle Tour!! Raul was our tour guide and he was absolutely amazing! We started off with safety guides then hoped in our boat and went for a ride! Landed in the middle of the beautiful ocean, we threw on our snorkel gears and jumped into the water and saw so many beau of idk fishes!! Raul even helped watched out 3 year old so that we can snorkel together for a bit. My son felt super comfortable with him and Raul even picked up a starfish to show him. We snorkeled for about 45 mins before holing back on the boat, and was provided with water bottles. Once we arrived back on the dock, we were offered with tequila tasting.. the coffee tequila was AMAZING!!! Definitely bought 2 bottles back :) The only downside was that the pics and videos were a bit pricey so we left without them but got some nice shots on our phone. Was a nice half day event for our trip to Cancun Mexico. My wife and I were able to have a boat to ourselves where we were taken on a tour and then later went deep sea snorkeling seeing a variety of different fish. There was some light snacks and water provided going with a group of 4 to 5 other boats. They also provided snorkels, flippers, and life jackets for all ages. Careful when snorkeling with sharp coral only a few feet beneath the water. Carlos our guide was funny and wanted to ensure everyone enjoyed their experience with having a few laughs along the way. Only feedback would be that the boats could've been cleaner and more spacious for groups of two per boat. For the price point I would recommend doing this if you want something a little adventurous but not too intense. read more

Great adventure for half the day...what I recommend is that you prepare to spend roughly $90 more than the trip appears online...also be prepared to make your accommodations to and from the location in advance. We took a cab there and it is the bus back...easy peasy right? Now onto the actual speedboat and snorkel adventure...the company is under time constraints so everything feels kinda rushed...you quickly sign some papers, get into a boat...then are told some basic instructions and then it's on from there...the entire concept of snorkeling and speedboats is awesome but I felt the customer service in certain aspects was kinda meh....I don't need to be reminded to tip...I see the box as clear as day but I do need a safe space to go in my wallet and provide your tip....I just think my guide had enough for the day...but regardless I still tipped because the other guy was great. I thought the photo package was roughly 15 dollars over priced...but hey...most things appear to be in Cancun...you won't quite get the angles nor photos the photo team will get so your best bet is to purchase that package...the trip isn't rushed or hurried but I certainly don't feel like my money was well received. Nonetheless we had a great time...however...there are multiple similar experiences to consider. read more

Man idk what that guy Ralph or whatever got up his butt but i had a fantastic time. One of the boats kept stalling so we did spend a few minutes here and there but Roy took care of it with the quickness. I thought the process they had for everything was seamless and smooth. The 40 dollar drone shot may be an impulse buy (totally bought it) so If it's not worth it for you, don't buy it. Simple as that. There weren't too many fish but the guys made sure to bring the fish to where we were with a bit of bread. The photos they took of us before we left for the excursion were nice! I don't know if I have the patience to stand in line to take photos at the i heart Cancún sign so the photos with their Cancún sign will do great for me. The staff members were all very nice and friendly. They like to joke around. They also made sure we were safe the whole time by checking in on us when we were kind of detached from the group. Our family had a great time! Ricardo was our guide and he did a great job of explaining everything and helping everyone. The speed boats were fun and the snorkeling was peaceful and we saw lots of fish. Wear long sleeves and apply sunscreen after snorkeling as you will still be out in the sun for another 30 minutes or so. Be prepared for the $20 dock fee per person (cash) and yes, they will try to sell you tequila and photos/video at the end. Overall, a great trip for families with older kids and teens, as well as adults looking for a little adrenaline boost. read more

Arrived with my family after a 35 minute and 80$ ride, we showed confirmation and receipts that it had been booked and prepaid online and they still wouldn't let us get on, by the time they finally determined that it was a mistake on their end, we were told we could wait another 3 hours after already waiting one because we were told to "be patient". We then tried to fight for a refund for the ride and activity as we wasted half of one of our limited days in Mexico standing in their boiling hot lobby. The one compensation that was offered was water. The people in the booth laughed at us while we sat there as well. I never write reviews for places but this place was so bad that I had to. We - had - a - BLAST!!! Our tour guide was Uri and he was outstanding? He clearly explained the rules and guidelines and reassured us that he'd be there to assist us and he was. Also, I was terrified to snorkel and went into the experience ready to stay on the boat by myself and dry in the sun while taking photos of my group. PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING 1/7/23 The review ask to upload photos but you CAN'T. They don't advertise or let you know you can't use your phone until the day of. You have to leave it in their wonky wooden lockers, with $15 usd deposit to use it. If you don't have them you'll need to leave your ID with them. No they will not use your credit card as a hold. Their $15 usd "dock fee" is also bogus. They charge your card $15 used or 300 pesos and usually the bank does the best exchange rate for you. Amex was doing around 19.15-19.19 depending on the day. So around 16/17 for said docking fee. I encourage yall to bring exactly $15 usd since they might not have any change. Once you leave your stuff in the locker, they tell you that there will be a free 6 bottle of Tequila tasting for FREE. True, but they seem to also have many bottles there, which might be for sale. (I'll get back to this.) We get a few good photos with a guy who makes us hold a sign that says CANCUN, pose on the jet skis, take off, pics. . etc. You are in a very very very SMALL rectangular space which is also being utilized by boats yachts, other people in their jet skis who don't respect that space and you are being followed like a hawk by your instructor. He will raise his hand if he needs to tell you something or correct you. The bounds are so small we went out of them constantly and he continued to get upset and mad at us. The flags are in 4 corners, hardly visibly in broad sunlight and no kidding, if you go from point a to b you can't even hit top speed. B to C maybe bc its the longer stretch of the rectangle. THE INSTRUCTOR made us feel so crappy not being nice at all. We didn't know we were going to be supervised yet followed and yelled at for an hour. Nobody respects the water space and it's basically going in a rectangle/ circle when you're cutting the corners. Theres no real bounds, just imaginary lines that he tells you to figure out on your own. My girlfriend and I were so damn stressed at this guy just following us and we didn't have fun at all. The had a drove mid session to record yall, cool shots and video. At the end of the session you take off your life vest and someone helping you up will say if you wanna tip leave it here for your instructor. You get 2 free waters and you head out to get your stuff, which at that point the "free tequila tasting" occurs which we declined and they insisted 3x. We kept walking to change to our dry clothes and the lady with the photos kept insisting to sell them to us. We said we'd be back we just have to use the restroom. THEY FOLLOWED US TO THE RESTROOM. After we got out, they offered their package of $20 a photo or $60 for all the photos and the drone video. She didn't even take the pics and she's making outrageous pricing. I speak Spanish fluently so I tried offering $40 for all, she got incredibly offended and replied abrasively as to WHY I was making that low offer. I just told her, why do you start off with $60? You didn't even take the photos, you just sell them. She said why don't you get some free shots of tequila and come back and change your mind. She rebutted with $40 for the drone video and 1 photo. They don't print them, they email them to you. We were kind of upset at maybe 10-15 mins of them harassing us for tips on the jetski for the "instructor" as well as them following us to the restroom to buy the photos. We weren't allowed to even take pics on our phones once we were out, its kind of a waste of $125 usd to book an additional $16/17 for docking fee and thats without tip either. OVER ALL I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. GO DO JETSKIS somewhere that isn't run by them. read more

We took this tour on 6/30/24. Unfortunately the ocean was so choppy, we couldn't do the snorkeling, so they extended the speedboat time. We had 8 grandchildren with us: ages 8-18. To a person they loved it. Those with a DL got to drive. The tour guides were cheerful, amusing, and helpful. Many of the grands said it was their favorite tour. We were disappointed about the snorkeling, but that wasn't their fault. There had been fairly hard winds preceding the hurricane (which, we are thankful, worsened after we left.) We had a slightly hard time finding the place--probably our GPS fault. read more

Best activity out here in Cancun! The workers do a fantastic job explaining the safety signals and made me feel confident and comfortable the entire time. You ride your own speed boat which was exhilarating, then you snorkel around the coral reef. The water was so blue and beautiful! I am NOT a swimmer and (I might spell it wrong) lui? We have been on many excursions through out the years. This one gives you the biggest bang for the buck. The boats offer a smooth ride and they are pretty fast. MUST READ!!!!! Terrible experience!! They're racist! First you have to pay $20usd PER PERSON for the "dock fee" which is crazy. They make you sign paperwork stating that if you break something you have to pay. It even has parts of the boat with prices. I have many tours/ excursions and never have I had to sign for something like this. We did the speedboat and snorkeling tour with my significant other that is african american, The tourist was named Mario. He was fine with everything one else but us. Do not recommend him at all. This was our first time and our last booking with jungle tour. We started the activity and he explains the rules and regulations for the tour, everything was understood. Within 5 mins of us driving the speedboat he gets our attention and says we are too close and we said okay sorry we'll back up. Now we are keeping good distance and he comes to us saying we are too far now. We said okay, we were a bit confused but we listened. When we get to the snorkeling area, which was 20 mins. This was my first time snorkeling and the way they advertised it was different, the water wasn't clear at all. We barely seen any fishes, just looking at reefs the whole time. We get back on the speedboat and as we starting to drive he tells us " you guys are too close then too far, make sure you keep just the right distance" we said okay. We are driving 7 mins in and he tells we are too far but the people in front of us were too far so we were keeping the right distance between us and them. Here comes mario saying we are too far and we explain that the people in front of us were too far that it's not our fault we were trying to keep the right distance. Never did he question the other people why they were too far. We start driving again and he stops the whole line comes all the way to the back where we were and says that we're too close again. At this point this is not a pleasant experience at all, we are frustrated and confused. I explain to him in spanish that he's keeps only telling us we're too far and too close. He then asked my boyfriend "buddy are you okay????" Trying to be smart and that was it for us, i tell him in spanish "we don't want to do this anymore we aren't having a good experience. Can you tie us to your boat and take us back" He laughed in our face and said no my friends that isn't the activity. He said okay follow me at the front of the line, we say okay. We start driving again and he does a hand signal saying we are too close so we back up and keep driving. We are back at the dock and everyone is making line to hand him the life jacket and flippers. We at the back of the line and my boyfriend is going to hand him the equipment, mario says "would you like to share a tip" my boyfriend says "no thank you" he said "no tip??" my boyfriend said "no." Mario is upset we don't tip him and he tells my boyfriend okay put you stuff over there and walks away from us. Never will be back here again. They have tequila tasting at the dock, you can even smell the tequila on his breath. read more

Did the Jetski's, it was cool but it got boring after 15-20 minutes. I booked for 60 minutes. Also, the place was super hard to find because the addresses were confusing and I was sent 2 different addresses to my email after booking. They were nice once we got there after finally finding it. The lockers to keep your stuff in were broken so we hid our stuff in the car. I advise you to not take valuable things with you because putting stuff in the car is also dangerous. Booked last minute thinking that it was a calm boat tour through the marina and it was like a wild trip on a high speed boat with snorkeling included. Regardless was amazing, Roy made my trip quite an experience. He was very attentive and patience with all of us. He had 2 girls that did not know how to swim (one me been included :-( ... This was our second time using Jungle Tour Adventure. It was just as wonderful as it was 15 years ago. Roy was our guide and he was beyond helpful and attentive. Our group's age ranged from 8 to 73 years old. Roy served all our diverse needs and even helped haul the plus size members of our group back on board the boat. Roy spent extra time calming our youngest member's fears of the open ocean and fish swimming around her. He even brought up a starfish to show her before returning it to a safe place on the ocean floor. read more

This is mucho fun muchacos so I recommend making your reservation before you leave for Cancun. These guys run a safe organized and fun speed boat trip to the reef.
