    Passion ll trip
    Tammy C.

Went over to Isla Mujeres on a catamaran, Passion ll and had so much fun! The crew was awesome, keeping us happy with lots of drinks, as well as entertaining us by dancing. They were very attentive to everyone onboard. Thank you so much for the great time and memories made

My iPhone location at one of the crew members house

do not rent from this place!!!!! they stole my iphone 12 pro max!!!!!!!!!!!! my phone fell into the ocean and one of the crew members dived for my phone then he came back up and said he couldnt find it. once i got home i checked find my app and my iphone was pinged at a residence @ supermanzana 107, 77539 benito juarez, qroo, mexico. then later that day i checked find my app again and my phone pinged at the marina. so obviously one of the crew members of marmajua boat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! do not rent from this place unless you want your belongings stolen from you!!!!! after i tried to get in touch with gilberto and he "tried" to find my phone but after he went to investigate my phone immediately powered off and i couldnt track it. and btw my imei on the phone is blacklisted so you cant do anything with my phone so you might as well ship my phone back to me

Huge red grouper our group caught

My husband has wanted to deep sea fish for years. We are both Spanish English bilingual but had such a difficult time trying to find a legitimate fishing tour company to do this on our own prior to our arrival in Cancun. Our hotel concierge suggested Marina Chac-chi and reserved the spot for my husband to go on a shared charter with others the next day. Approximately $155 per person (which I feel is on par with other providers and better service). They also can pick you up at your hotel and take you back for an additional $15 round trip which was well worth the cost. He had such an amazing time and literally can't stop talking about it. They caught a huge grouper and a marlin that morning and he had a great time with the crew and others from New Zealand, the States, etc. definitely don't eat too much that morning and take some Dramamine before you go. They include ice/water/soft drinks/beer but again you probably don't want to drink if you don't want to get sick the whole trip. Highly recommend this company as providing an exceptional service and experience and being confident you'll get what you pay for with a safe crew and boat.

Didn't get the elusive Tarpon, but hooked up on some nice Jacks, Barracudas and Mango Snapper!…read more It was fun, we even had had a Tarpon on twice but couldn't land. It took the bait and line the first time and it was probably a 15+ pounder, then fishing the mangroves I almost hooked up on a Tarpon. DANG IT! Did a 6 hour day trip, had plenty of water, sodas and a sandwich lunch while on the boat. It was a sweet ride and had a great time. We were catching. That's what made it a good time!

Very good operator We are experienced fishermen ( husband…read moreand wife. Fish California, Baja, Fla, and Exuma/ Bahamas) but first time in this fishery The Operation: Captains are knowledgeable , helpful, good language skills and know the waters. Boats are Hellsbay 17's so that speaks for itself. This is a light tackle fishery and the gear is ample. Sandwiches for lunch were good and plenty of water , soda Gatorade etc. Plenty of bait casting options on board , good tackle selection designed for success here. Martin the owner runs a good operation and absolutely no issues. The fishery: Nothing to do with the operator but if you wanna be successful here you have to be willing to cast plastics / artificials all day. Certainly the captains can do the fishing and hand you a fish-on rod but it wont be as much fun. Gotta be persistent and patient here and work it. The lagoon and inlets are very pretty with some good variation in depths and "pockets" and if you like inshore fishing we recommend it. We had a very good day in tough conditions windy , winter etc and caught multiple snook , multiple bonefish , a permit and some other by-catch. I was amazed at the quantity and quality. Very unexpected considering the time of year and conditions. A big credit to the operator. Our captain Mauricio knows his spots and which swim baits / lures will hit. I would say if you have not done inshore fishing a lot just tell the captain the truth and let him coach u up some before hitting their spots. It's worth the 10 minutes to let him know and teach u the gear, casting and retrieving basics. We didn't need that but clearly they can see who has experience and who doesn't. Don't be afraid to ask and be honest..they want you to be successful. Full credit to the operator for having that kind of captains in their boats. A recommend for sure

They were 15+ min late picking us up only to wait for 1+ hours at the dock for the catamaran. It was advertised as a catamaran, snorkel, island adventure, and then an exclusive beach club. Snorkeling was amazing but equipment was cheap and not enough time to do it. The "exclusive" beach club was not nice at all. Food was mediocre at best and felt like we were eating at a mess hall. Basically this was a booze cruise, which is great for some, but it was not sold to us as such and it was a totally disappointing experience. It felt like a floating frat party with cheap alcohol and workers pouring tequila down teenagers throats.
