And I deeply regret calling them. The week before Thanksgiving, I requested service on 3 toilets in my home to have the tank parts replaced. I was having family coming and wanted the work completed before they arrived. They sent Michael to my home. He provided a quote just under $1,300 for the repair, advising that there could possibly be damage if I chose to go this way, and they would not be responsible if that happened. He provided a quote of $$2,250 to replace all 3 toilets with an American Standard model, and said there would not be any damage. He said he could do it that day, so I reluctantly agreed to have them replaced. He said it would take 3 hours. His only business in my basement storage room was to turn off the main water valve. However, I should have paid more attention to his whereabouts. I thought it odd that he carried out a white canvas bag that appeared stuffed with something, and I wish I had stopped him to ask what was in the bag. I also wish I had gone into the basement and checked to see if anything was missing before he left. I thought it odd that he didn't depart after he finished working. Another Precision Plumbing van pulled up and parked in front of my house. I now wish I had gone outside. At a later date, I went down to the basement to get Christmas decorations and discovered many, many items, were missing from the storage room where the water main is located. I was very upset about this and called Precision Plumbing and left a voicemail for someone to call me. Candace, the former owner's sister now runs the company. She called me back and said she spoke with Michael and he denied taking the items and also denied there was another company vehicle at my home that night. However, after checking GPS, she confirmed with me that there was another company van at my home, just as I saw and described. I reported the theft to the county sheriff's office. They prepared a report and recommended I install cameras to watch service providers. I'm letting people know they should not be shy about watching over people working in their home. I advise having additional people on hand to watch with you. It's getting to where people know they can take from others and get away with it. I would not recommend using this company for this reason. read more

Well yesterday our pipe coming from the well entering the water heater burst...you can only imagine the mess, of course my husband was working, usually how it goes, not answering my calls..loosing my mind. Thank God my son was home and able to slow the leak. Juniors was out within a few hours, fixed the problem for under $600.00, it was Saturday after all. There was a visit schedule at one of our residences through our home warranty service for 10am on a Friday morning. The contractor actually arrived at 0953, so 7 minutes early. The conversation started with my reiteration of the issue: a leakage of water through the pipes in a concentrated area in the crawlspace that smelled of detergent. So, this would require a recreation of the problem by utilizing the washer having to release water from a full wash cycle. However, the technician told the customer to run all the faucets in the house and the contractor went in the crawlspace to investigate any leaks. After 15 minutes the contractor let the customer know that the water pooling in the crawlspace was not located under any of the pipes - therefore there was no leak. I repeated that the other contractors reported that the areas that had the moisture had a distinct smell of detergent also that they refrained from using the washer for almost 10 days. When asked if the water the contractor noticed under the crawlspace had an odor of detergent, the contractor reported that their sense of smell was not that good and that they couldn't really say if it resembled detergent or not. The customer then tried to repeat that the reported issue that they sent in other warranty company and that the warranty company relayed to the JR company. The customer explained that the issue could possibly be recreated by running a wash cycle through the washer and letting it be released through the rinse cycle. When the customer was allowed to run the washer to recreate the issue, the contractor let them know multiple times that they had already been at the residence for almost 40 minutes and they had other appointments to get to. They suggested that the customer get a crawlspace specialist because they are only a plumber and do not know crawlspaces. They also let the customer know that they could just look in the crawlspace themselves when the loads release to see where any water may be coming from the pipes. Without allowing the washer basin to fill up - the customer set the load to rinse and the contractor looked under the house from the entry of the crawlspace and reported that they could see no leaks. The contractor was paid and they let the customer know that if any other contractor finds a leak that they didn't, that their company would be responsible for the repairs (for up to 30 days). The contractor left at 1042am. This experience was one of the worst that the customer has ever had. First, with contractors - there is always at least a 2 hr window for appointments to fully assess the issues. Maybe there was an issue with staffing or overbooking your contractors but the level of attention/concern that the customer has received from other plumbing contractors was just not there. It was very beneficial that the contractor was able to arrive 7 minutes early to the 10am appt time, however - your company needs to allot for a sufficient amount of time to actually assess the problems. For a customer to be reminded multiple times of time passed while assessing an issue that they are paying for is quite unprofessional. Also, the issue reported through the warranty was detailed and also relayed to the JR plumbing company database, yet the first thing that was assessed was a leak from running water throughout the house. This was unfortunately due to the contractor being given a skeleton work order that only said "leak in crawlspace". Therefore, the visit was not given the proper assessment not to the fault of the contractor- but to the fault of the supervisors. The customer concerns were dismissed at the very beginning and the service felt quite rushed. read more

Requested a quote regarding bathroom sink leak. Top area, near the gasket/sink drain, showed signs of use-dependent leakage. Got a call and agreed to have someone look at it the next day. Technician arrived and I was given a quote via iPad. Services are charged by type, not hourly rate. After examining the sink, technician (Will) had to go to the store for a replacement part. Installed the new part and showed me the old, broken, and non-repairable part. I thus had a new non-leaking sink within approximately 1 hour from start to finish (30 mins for actual repair). Invoice was sent and I paid via check, as credit card has a 5% transaction fee. I was also offered a complimentary review of my other sinks and was shown what work he recommended. I asked for and was given a quote for these as I plan to repair these at a later time since they were not actively leaking. He did not try to convince me to repair these at this time. Afterwards, we thanked each other and were on our way. Whole process was fairly straight forward, was not pushy and did not try to sell me on repairs. Will, my technician, was great, constantly communicative, and educated me on the whole process. I live in a condominium complex at this time and plan to use them again in the future. We had a leak inside our toilet at work, which caused our water bill to be three times as much as it usually is, yikes! Luckily the owner of juniors was nearby and kindly went to check out the situation for us. He explained exactly what was wrong and gave us an estimate, saying he could come back the next morning to fix it--even though he did a temporary fix when he was checking everything out! He came back bright and early the very next day and fixed both toilets, because one of them had a piece that was on it's last leg so it was going to need replacing soon as well! Everything was done quickly, he left no mess and made no noise! I would highly recommend junior's to anyone and everyone! I was referred to them through AHS. I did not hear from them after 24 hours so I checked in with AHS to see if I was on their radar. They called Junior's and said I was scheduled for tomorrow 4-6pm. Junior's called me the next day with questions. Then the woman said they'll see me tomorrow. I stated that AHS said the appointment was today. She said that AHS said the appointment is tomorrow. We had Junior's out to make an emergency replacement of a water heater that had been improperly installed by our builder only two years ago. They responded quickly and they were on-time for our agreed appointment date. They obtained the new heater the same day; transported it to our house and installed it all in the same day. The installation was much more professional than the original. I think the technician rushed a little bit by the end of the day and there were some minor issues I addressed to the office. They were gracious and apologetic to the point that they came back to deliver a personal apology. I would have easily rated them 5 stars if it weren't for the minor issues. Excellent service- not pushy on unnecessary sale like some other companies that like to play on the fear, uncertainty, doubts of customers. Plumber that came was nice and courteous. They put on booties which was very much appreciated. They explained what they were going to do and were much quicker than I expected. They use iPads to get quick quotes from their headquarters which is great so there is not much wait in the initial assessment vs starting work, however it would be great to have more transparency into the cost breakdown of each job. How much am I paying for parts, labor, etc would be great to know because most times these contractors seem to just come up with a number and they expect you to take their word for it that is what everything costs. I realize there is profit for them to be made, this is a business of course, but it'd be great as a consumer to know I'm not overpaying either. You can also pay by card but there is a 5% added fee to the total. Something to keep in mind if you are budget conscience and trying to compare apples to apples with other plumbers. Given everything, I'd definitely call them back for any other issue in my home. Recommending them to the folks in my HOA as well- a group of over 800 homes. I used Junior's Plumbing when I lived in Woodbridge years ago, and when I had issues with my new house in Spotsy Joe was the first Plumber that came to mind. I had remembered what great service I received and how professional Joe was at my Woodbridge home. So when I had a upstairs shower leaking into the room below, I called Junior's. Joe came out the next morning and quickly identified the problem, the drain had separated from the shower pan. Joe repaired the drain and my wife who was there told me (I was at work getting the scope of things second hand) that Joe was very polite, professional and did a great job fixing our plumbing issue at a very reasonable price. There is some history between Joe and I, I went through high school and was friends with his father, so I wont pretty up anything and I'll be honest about the following. When my wife and I discovered that we still had a leak from the shower, of course we called Juniors. I did mention above that Joe did a great job on the drain, and he did, it wasn't leaking from the drain and the leak was smaller. They sent a tech. out the next day, and once again I receiving info second hand due to being at work. My wife calls me crying that the tech. is tearing the house apart. I'm thinking it cant be that bad, I know that you have to take drywall down to find leaks. I calmed her down and asked her to walk away and let the tech do his job. After opening up my ceiling, cutting a hole in the bathroom wall, and busting out 4 tile on the soaking tub, the tech found the leak in the pan of the shower. Being that I'm the type of person that acts before I thinks, I was pissed, especially about the tile. It ended up that there was some tension between Joe and I and I actually accused Joe of cracking the pan. Joe came over to house and he spoke to me calmly. We looked at the pan and right then I thought to myself that maybe I was wrong. Joe gave me the number of a man that does these types of repairs, Henry. When Henry came out to look at the pan he recognized the brand of shower unit and told he was surprised it hadn't leaked on me sooner. That Saturday Henry started work on pan and discovered it had been leaking for some time, before Joe fixed the drain. I made a mistake, but Joe handled the entire affair professionally, even though I could tell he was upset about being accused. The bottom is that even through all this, Juniors is my go to plumber. Don't waste your time and money using another plumber, use Junior's. Side note: I hope I never meet the tech that damaged my tile, that's the reason for 4 stars. :) read more

UPDATED: I was originally unable to contact the owner of the business and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The owner responded to my complaint quickly and explained that the employee who started my installation was terminated from employment and left no information that my job had not been completed or failed inspection. Shortly after (the reason i couldn't contact the owner) he relocated his business. The business owner was extremely apologetic and refunded me everything i was out from the job, sending me a money order 48 hours after we spoke. Was very courteous, apologetic, and prompt in communication. All items were resolved to my satisfaction and i would consider allowing him to work on my property again. read more

Marty (I think was his name) kept in contact with my husband throughout the day to confirm our appointment time, he showed up right on time. He was professional, polite and got straight to work. He ended up having to come back again the following day to finish the job, he showed up on time again and got it completed with no problems. Our issue ended up not being covered by the home warranty because it was outside, but Junior's charges were reasonable. We made an appointment with Junior's through our warranty, HSA, to address two issues. First, the handle in our bathtub was extremely difficult to pull out. Second, there was a sulfur smell in the cold water coming from the faucets in the bathroom sink. We made an appointment for May 10 from 4:00 to 6:00. 4:00 rolled around and we received a call that the technician would not be able to come out. The lady we spoke to, Candice I believe, was very apologetic, and we rescheduled for the next day at the same time. Fast forward to 6:00 the next day, and no one has showed up or called. I call and am told that they have no idea where the technician, Marty, is. He finally shows up at our house at 7:30. He takes a look at the handle and starts yanking it in and out of the wall so hard that the wall itself moves and a gap appears between the tub spout and the wall. He then asks us what the problem is.... After taking the handle off, it is clear that the cartridge is corroded, but Marty had not brought the tools he needed to actually fix the issue. As far as the sulfur smell, he said that he had no idea what it was and left without even attempting to figure it out. He was supposed to get back to us about whether the warranty would cover the cartridge replacement and a diagnosis for the sulfur smell, but, surprise surprise, we never heard a peep. My experience is not with the service. But it is with its customer service. I called more than 10 times since their technician didn't show up until so late and I had to leave. I also left a couple of messages but she never returned my calls. She called me next day asking for payment saying they were a professional business and needed to collect the service charge before the work was done. But her work attitude was not too professional. I don't know if she's a owner or if she's just a receptionist. But what kind of professional business doesn't answer the phone during normal business hours and don't even return the calls. read more

Junior's plumbing was dispatched to take care a backed up kitchen sink drain as a part of our home warranty program. The plumber who came out saw a disconnected p trap and diagnosed this as the problem and reported this to the warranty company. He did not even bother to look in the sink or run the garbage disposal to make sure everything was operating properly. He'd gone before I went to check behind him and discovered that our water was not draining out of the line. Anyway, very long story short, we had to go without a kitchen sink for 4 days and have another vendor come out as Junior's was unwilling to come out again (the extremely rude receptionist even hung up on me). We had to pay another deductible to the new vendor to have the problem taken care of properly as Junior's incompletely and incorrectly diagnosed the problem.
