I had a "no water" situation a few weeks ago. I couldn't get anybody to come out that day. I was told that "we don't cover your area" or "our truck is broken down or "not until next week" or "your well's too deep" (522 feet with pvc to 168 feet.) The lady at MATTHEWS said we have a 40-mile radius service area. She checked my address and I was at 38.2 miles. She called a couple guys and said they would be there in an hour!! Israel and Sean showed up with a couple cool trucks and jumped right on it. They pulled the pump, showed me the bad part, installed a new pump and stayed late to make sure everything was good. They really knew their stuff, were hard-working and funny as hell to boot. And I also got an email to order a company shirt if I wanted. Great company and I would use them again in a heartbeat! Called one that looked the closest via google maps, they didn't work with jet pumps anymore so I called the next closest; same thing, so I asked if they knew someone who would help, they said try Matthews. Wow! I've been totally blown away by the customer service from Matthews Well & Pump. I started out the previous week, with troubling water pressure changes in my crawlspace pump. I had called another company, scheduled a service, (which was confirmed by email), took the day off from work, but no one showed up or even called to say they weren't coming. A week later, they still haven't called to apologize or admit their mistake. I searched on the Internet, and luckily found Matthews, which had incredible reviews. I contacted them online and was pleased to get a phone call later that morning from the most professional and friendly Office Manager, Kelly. She helped make sure all of my information was correct and scheduled Kent to come out in two days. Kent arrived this morning, and quickly diagnosed our issues, and installed two new pumps to replace my failing one. Kent was polite, professional, and took care of the installation and clean up. I wish I could leave more than 5 stars. We had no water with a failed well pump. Nancy was so nice on the phone and got me setup on same day service. She pretty much nailed the time they came out. John showed up and was awesome. Explained everything, quoted everything before the work started and had me with running water again within 3.5 hours. We've used the services of Matthews Well and Pump for 16 years and have always been very satisfied with them. John came to perform annual maintenance on our water system. As he was providing my husband with the results, John mentioned that he noticed that our heat pump outdoor unit didn't sound like it was working properly. Turns out, he was right! I value their expertise so highly that no matter WHAT I need done--I call and ask them to make a recommendation for someone who is just like them, but in another field.
