I have a little one and because I went in and used a stroller they accused me of stealing for using my basket. I was feeding my daughter, getting her drink ready, and have been a LOYAL customer for YEARS. Never once have I taken anything from any store. I have been screwed out of plenty of money by G & M.. the quality isn't great but it's the place to go to when you're in a pinch. They asked all their customers to donate money for them to begin a rewards program with each purchase but they don't follow the program just kept the money. I wouldn't have been mad if Gib politely told me there's a no baby stroller policy. However he runs up on me in a corner of the shop and asks if I'm paying for my items. "I've been monitoring you for a while now" Gib says. "Okay." I said, "and?" He stated again he keeps watching me everytime I enter his store and I'm interested to know why since I've never taken anything for him. I haven't even stepped foot near the door yet and have been accused of theft. Then this fool takes everything off my stroller to alert the simp working the register. Since I didn't immediately spend hundreds of dollars as I usually do there, he tells me "I know how you shop" as if I were to just walk off with what I had because it's not one of his few hundred dollars wigs. I'm speechless.. As a black woman, you hear stories all the time of profiling. Hasn't happened to me once at a store until I step foot into this male dominated Women's Beauty shop. I told them I won't be spending money there anymore because Jeff Bezos can get it. The disrespect was real from the owner and his side kick.

I told the stylist I wanted lots of layers to reduce the weight and bring out my natural wave. She basically gave me a trim, and then blow dried my hair straight. It's uneven, and even though she told me she was going to make it less blunt and choppy, she didn't. She trimmed one part of my bangs way too short. I kept waiting for her to start actually cutting my hair, but she seemed distracted by chatting with a new employee. When the haircut was over, I was speechless. It didn't look much different than when I came in, but it was definitely worse. I didn't want her touching my hair anymore, so I just paid and left. Then I cried in my car. Save yourself some time and money, and get your hair cut elsewhere!!!!

Now the store is up kept like no other. When I go there I find the service a person would want. These people are very knowledgeable. They have taught me facts that has educated me. These people here do care and make it a point to see you happy and leave with a smile of satisfaction. They put their all into what they do and I can appreciate the help they offer. This store rocks like no other I've dealt with. It's the products you can't find just anywhere and it's the employees here that make this store so amazing. She called me back 2 days later and stated after reviewing the footage, my hair looks good from what I requested. I went in with brown hair and asked for blonde highlights. I left with fried hair and multiple different shades in a strand of hair. The manager told me they can do a hair treatment to try and fix it being fried and have the stylist fix it. I refused, I will not go back to that stylist or the store. I was then told, another stylist could fix it. Again I refused. She stated there was nothing they can do as the video looks great. I paid $450 for the hair and $164 for the service to have them put on. After a couple days I was very unhappy with them because they felt very tight and itchy and some of them were visible. I decided to have them removed. Josie, was very unhappy with my decision. She removed them in a back room. I told her she did a fine job but I just didn't like them and they are uncomfortable. She called me condescending (I wasn't) and said she no longer wants to do my hair and I should find a new stylist. I said to her, well I'm happy you have enough customers that you feel it's okay to cut off a customer. Previously, she would call me friend, and say you're funny, etc. then when she was so mad that I wanted them removed and she couldn't make more money from the hair extensions to be moved up every 6 months, another $150 every time, she no longer wants to do my hair and told me more than once that I am condescending. I was not. I was thinking how much this impulsive action on my part cost me and it was an expensive mistake. I never blamed her. I really felt crapped on. She wasn't even going to wash my hair after she took them out which she had to use some oil product to get them out and she knew I was going on some errands. I told her to wash it out, she carelessly washed and dried it. She then put my hair extensions in a bag. She said I could see someone else there and I said okay how about the girl that works by you and the other stylist said, she's no longer taking new clients. I said oh whatever and left feeling pretty unhappy with how I was treated. That's a joke, they take walk-ins but wouldn't give me the other girls business card. I give them a "F" in customer service!
