Took four people to move it the last time and these two guys pulled it off by themselves up a stairway. Bravo, fellas! I applaud you. They charge by how full the truck gets plus recycling fees for certain items such as mattresses and TV's. $29 for a mattress and up to $89 depending on the size the TV. $89 for my old junker. No complaints on the pricing from me. So happy to be rid of that antiquated, useless piece of garbage. Can't recommend them highly enough! read more

Super service from these great guys. They cleared an enormous amount of junk in record time. They were helpful and personable, and the price was absolutely a gift. They charge by the size of the load, rather than the time it takes to load. For some jobs with big bulky items this might be very fast, but in my case i had a huge number of boxes, a whole room full of loose items and some very irregular pieces. It took them nearly three hours, but they still only charged me for the volume of the items in the truck. I felt utterly blessed. Called 'All Day Haul Away' to have sofa sleeper removed from our house. Was impressed by the reviews on their website, and it claimed to be local company owned by 2 brothers. Sounds good right? Very wrong. On the scheduled day a truck labeled 'Junk Genius' showed up. Questioned about the name difference, the guy explained there are about 4 companies under the All Day Haul Away group. These guys had no clue. When removing the sofa sleeper, the sleeper springs opened in the stairway, punching a hole in the wall. The American Tourister gorilla, if you're old enough to remember that commercial, would have done the same or better. Very disappointed. As far as the 'local' company claim, why did I get a call from Acton Massachusetts before they arrived? Hmmmm. Do not trust this company. read more

He worked with me to identify the problem and was extremely helpful and apologetic. I wanted to like Junk Genius- the lady I spoke to on the phone was helpful. They promised they would show up between 11-2 the next day and call 30 minutes before because my husband would have to leave work. However, they called him hours early and said that they were on their way to our house. My husband had to leave work soon after he got there (looks really bad) to drive home, and when he got there the stuff was already loaded before they were able to give us a price quote (I was told they would only load everything after we had agreed upon a price). We really needed to get rid of the stuff, so we resigned ourselves at that point to paying and letting them take it away. They were great on the phone and the quote was low until they got to the house. Over the phone I told them we had a box spring, mattress, couch and chair and they quoted me $250. Once at my home they quoted me $500. I paid it because we are moving and I don't have time to mess around but that is bulljive. I don't think I would use them again based on the price. read more
