I highly recommend Junk in the Trunk for hauling services. I first contacted a company in VA but they didn't service my area (Capitol Hill), and they suggested contacting Frank at JITT. After checking Yelp reviews and their website, I reached out to them. Frank was super responsive, quoted me a reasonable price, was able to come on my schedule, showed up exactly on time with a courteous, professional crew, and cleared away my junk pile with no issues. This included a very large and heavy plate glass mirror. The price was very fair - and on the JITT website they explain clearly how their pricing works, which I appreciated because I got 4 quotes for this service from different companies and they varied wildly. Let me start by saying I am hardly one to leave a review, but I really felt the need to with Junk In The Trunk. They absolutely crushed the demo job for us. A lot people think Demo and cleanout companies are all the same, I am here to tell you they aren't at all, The quality and care that went into the demo of this house gut was amazing. They were very professional, showed up on time, the guy Anthony even made sure he got to the site extra early the next day to make sure the work was complete, they all worked hard, made sure to confirm the scope of the work every step of the way. They made sure safety was a priority, and they were very knowledgeable about structural parts of the house. I was truly amazed by their efficiency. What would have taken me weeks took them 2 days. They worked liked surgeons with crowbars. After they were done I could have eaten off of the floors. Highly recommend Junk in the Trunk. I had a collection of random household and yard items piled up which needed to be removed. Some items were too big or too heavy for me to handle. I got several quotes, and JITT was the lowest. In addition, Frank was quite prompt in his reply, and clear in communicating. We set up a time for the removal. Frank communicated clearly leading up to the appointment and also texted to let me know when they were on their way to my house. The guys were super nice, very quick, and super thorough. They were done in just a few minutes and went above and beyond by even raking up leaves in the area, leaving it looking as though nothing had ever been there. They gave me useful estimates before they started, and wound up under the estimate in the second job, even though they had to do quite a bit of work to disassemble a cabinet before they could move it. These guys are great. They had no problem finding our house even though it was a back alley, gave us an honest and fair assessment of the price first, worked very quickly, and made it easy for us to pay with a credit card. I used them a couple of times. In one case, Frank even texted me just to make sure that the item he was about to trash wasn't picked up by mistake (he wanted to make sure I really did want to dispose of it) before he dumped it.
