Way overpriced removal of cardboard recyclables from my home. Claimed truck was full when it was obviously not and they didn't compact the load either. Sorry, but cannot recommend these guys. They did come when they said they would. read more

I was so looking forward to having some items removed from my house that I wasn't able to do. I had to reschedule my appt to a Friday. I was all set for them and they called to tell me that it was Good Friday and the land fill was closed (didn't they know that beforehand???). It was changed to Monday morning so I rearranged my day then they called back and told me it would be at 1-3. Well at 1:45 I called the office and was told that 1-3 was my window. Well to make a very long story short they showed up at 6:30. They went to my basement and said - "Oh we will need bags." UMMMMMM ISN'T THAT PART OF THEIR JOB TO CARRY BAGS??? He then told me he couldn't do the job that day and I rescheduled for first thing on Friday. I also showed him everything that he needed to take. Friday morning he called and told me they were taking the truck to get an oil change! REALLY??????? Well at 12:30 they finally showed up with an almost full truck which makes me wonder if they had an earlier job. They got everything. The basement wasn't swept like they said it would be because the guy saw a spider. I actually was fine with that! But upstairs nothing was swept! Also he told me that they didn't have enough room on the truck for the rest of my stuff. I told him that he knew what I had and it needs to go today- so he said - ok he'd take it! Also Junk King talks about being green and donating items etc. I asked the guy what they do with the stuff and he told me they take it to the landfill!!! I had nice stuff that I thought would be donated where it would be needed! I will say the 2 guys who came were fast and nice. I just learned not to use them again. read more

First of all, my junk was removed. And they were on time. The price was expensive but as I said the junk is gone. BUT as I was emptying a house that we had sold, keeping in house damage to a minimum was a given, I thought. One of the two men they sent, literally THREW the debris from a third floor stair landing onto the hardwood floors below. When I protested, they opened the upstairs window and dropped the debris to the driveway below, which was ok BUT they left the window open when finished. IT WAS RAINING. Of the two men that were sent to our house, one was communicative while the other was sullen and would not even answer questions. I will not have the occasion to use this Junk King location again and based on this experience I can not recommend them. read more
