Apparently, I had taken a load some time ago and forgot to stop by the office for payment. They put the payment in an envelope and held it for me. Updating my review from 2018 since some things have changed…read more For $10 you can dump a truck load of crap you need to get rid of. If your load is metal, it costs you nothing. Things that have changed since my last review 1) Credit and debit cards ONLY. It use to be cash only but that has changed. 2) Drive up to the first building to pay. You pay the guy from the window. They don't ask a lot of questions, so if you work for the mob, great place to dispose of.......well, you know what I am talking about. After paying, you backup to the dump spot and throw your garbage in to the dumpsters below. Watch out for nails and crap that can give you a flat tire. They take about anything, furniture, mattresses, whatever. The sign at the entrance has the rules. See my picture of it. Metal items, tires, appliances and such go into different dumpsters and trailers. It is a different section but probably only 50 yards from the main area.

back again... kinda stinks but where else are you gonna go with your various unmentionables?? gotta…read morehave a sticker on your windshield to use the facilities because, well, you know, local taxes pay for this (and tipping fees... local taxes and tipping fees pay for this.) sticker arrives with the property tax notice so keep an eye out for it and when it arrives it's supposed to be attached in the lower driver's side corner of the windshield, anywhere else and you will be subject to mockery and taunting by the staff (it's all good natured fun so just play along and promise to do better next year.) they'll accept pretty much all your household waste here and all they ask is that you bin it properly: scrap metals, lawn waste, construction debris, cardboards, glass (in two flavors: clear and brown), tin cans, limited quantities of used motor oil, appliances, and regular trash. even if you have curbside waste pickup you should stop in at least once annually since you're funding it. not quite as fun as the actual dump on an autumn day but there's also not so many large rodents to contend with either.

They gave me .08 cents per pound. I took 15 of the very same curbs to TT&E and got .58 cents per pound. I understand getting hit for some screws but they gave me steel prices for what was clearly aluminum. Terrible attitude and terrible prices. Would not recommend anyone go to this place unless you want to get ripped off.

I…read moreget monthly shipments that require temperature control so I am glad I can take the white Styrofoam containers to a place to be properly disposed of. The last visit I had some old, defunct flat screen monitors for a computer I don't use any more and they do take a number of small electronics and lead batteries. Just make sure to follow the signs and instructions. When I have visited, it was during the week so there was never a line, you can pull your car up to whatever section you are disposing at and be on your way. There are usually staff members doing something at the various stations, so if you have a question on where to place your items, they are the best bet.
