Just about as clean as a dump could be too (there's gonna be flies with garbage no matter what). They have signs posted everywhere that will tell you exactly were you drop off just about anything. Today I dropped of a broken TV, a car full of cardboard (clean, never touched food) for recycling, and some old ammunition (at the hazardous waste section). If we didn't have free refuse disposal with our rental, I'd bring everything over here and save some money.

For example when I called Waste Management, the rep I spoke to asked how many bags of trash we have per week, then tried to upsell me on the already significantly more expensive container. We are only two people producing maybe 2 bags of trash per week, so I immediately became suspicious when the WM rep told me I needed the 3rd size up from the smallest. Green Planet lady was happy to give me the smallest size container and it's been fine so far! We've only had pickups twice yet, the first time they were a day late but the second time they came when they were meant to.

Funny they match exactly; I think they are colluding on the price. The only other Trash Disposal company I found here in in Rochester, MN., was Green Planet. Based on a review here on Yelp I was expecting a better price, unfortunately the quoted price was actually higher by 25% ($98 v. $75/quarter). I'm not sure how they stay in business, I guess they hope you don't price shop. . Regardless, it seems I'm stuck with Advanced Disposal for now.

I believe that Habitats Restore Store will pick up donated furniture but rightly so, they have criteria for what they accept and I wasn't sure what things of mine could be donated to them and what needed to be junked. I got the name of Junk Pros from the Restore Store and I was so impressed with Junk Pros service. They took away my old furniture, brought it to the Habitat for Humanity Restore Store to see what they would take as a donation and the rest they hauled away for junk. Their price was super reasonable. I was so impressed with Ben and his company, Junk Pros.
