Wow! Fast, friendly and reasonably priced. I've been cleaning out my garage and shed so I accumulated a pile of stuff to get rid of. I called late Saturday afternoon expecting to have to leave a voicemail. Alex picked up asked about what I had, provided a quote range and said they could be here Monday afternoon. Alex called and said they were able to come earlier than scheduled which worked for me. The 2 young men who came were very pilot and quick. Within 10 minutes they had everything loaded. He gave me an estimate based on my descriptions of what I wanted hauled away and scheduled an appointment for this morning with a 9:00 - 10:00 arrival window. I received follow up communications including a call when the crew was 20 minutes away. They arrived at 9:15 and surveyed the job. It ended up being less expensive than the quote but the real key point is how professional the crew was. They were timely, careful, diligent, friendly and did a wonderful job. Never used a service like this before but we had a bunch of random things that just needed to be gone for spring cleaning; some old patio furniture, an old grill, and an old TV that didn't work anymore. I filled out their contact form online and got a prompt call to discuss pricing and all that. We scheduled a time that week for a pick up. They had email and text confirmations, called on the day to ask about an earlier arrival time, confirmed via phone when they were 30 minutes out, and when they arrived they were super polite and very respectful of property. Believe the good reviews. I made an inquiry late on a Thursday, received a follow-up call early on a Friday, and my old mattress was out of my house by 9:30am the same morning. While I know that I may have gotten lucky with an open timeslot, the point is that there was great follow up, and everything that they said they would do, they did. The crew was on time, very polite and efficient. I made sure there was a nice tip for them. Using the service was a little more expensive than using my HOA's trash hauler, but they wouldn't have done it without my purchasing of, and installation of a mattress cover, and according to the reviews I saw had a terrible reputation for not showing for scheduled appointments, and sometime more than once. If I could leave a 10-star review, I would! Junkman went above and beyond to help me with a huge problem. I had an old water heater in my basement which was full of water and sediment, probably weighing 400 pounds. I contacted several other removal companies, and no one would touch it. Two guys came out to determine how to get this up 20 steps bending around corners, and out. They decided to return the next day with a third guy, and somehow they solved the problem and removed it, charging about half of what I expected to pay.
