We had the plan set and then CO got his with a huge unusual snow storm. Tim contacted me immediately to coordinate an alternate date. This was a bit problematic as my son needed to be out of his place by a specific date. Tim worked with my son and his Landlord to develop a plan where my son could relocate the stuff from the home to the landlords location. Dan will give you an estimate on the phone based on your items and walks you through the process. I was able to make an appointment for Monday on the Friday before (might have been able to do same day, but needed Monday), and all the communication around timing of truck was clear and direct. I didn't have to sit around and wonder when they'd arrive. I had a window, and they arrived ten minutes into that window. The guys that came for pick up were able to problem solve getting my couch out of a tight spot (old building), and grabbed a bunch of other unwieldy items from a basement space in no time. They were friendly and professional, and even said "it's our job to make this easy for you!", which ended up being absolutely true. The pricing is comparable to other pickup companies, but it's nice to know Dan will find a home for any item in good condition! Their "truck" was a sizable trailer, not your typical moving truck. I had them move one bedroom's furniture, and living room/kitchen furniture, and it took about 3 hours, which is what I expected. I'd previously hired other movers who pressured me to wrap everything which takes time and money, but they also had dollies and could take large pieces of furniture down stairs so they may have been slightly more efficient.
